"KP Builders came highly recommended by some friends who had work done at their home. Prior to signing the contract with KPB the owner of the company also arranged for a visit to a home where he had recently undertaken a full renovation of the basement. The initial discussions centered around our vision for the basement, the must haves, the nice to haves and the basic flow for the basement. The owner Alpesh is very easy to work with and fully understood the direction and design concept we were looking for. Budget discussions gave him an idea on the freedom of design he would have. His great understanding on the use of space and options to creatively use this space allowed him to take our ideas, improve upon this and detail a better solution that would work for us. Drawings were rendered based on our discussions with suggestions from Alpesh on how best to utilize the space and maximize the return on our investment. the different options on heating and cooling were discussed at length and the final layout agreed upon. Once we all agreed on design and budget, contracts signed and work began in earnest. The communications from KPB at all phases was excellent and meetings held regularly on progress. Sub contractors used on all phases were extremely professional and it was very pleasing to note that they cleaned up daily when they left the premises. Everyone took great pride in their work and their deliveries. As Alpesh understood the final look we were looking for his suggestions on lighting, cabinets, plumbing fixtures etc. were always on the mark. During this work my wife impressed with what was being done in the basement added more work for KPB to undertake in the Kitchen and family room of our home with some additional remodeling. Alpesh arranged for this work to be done during the basement phase. The work was completed very professionally, inspectors did not find reason to not sign off and we have been extremely pleased with the end result. Highly recommend KP Builders for remodeling work."

"Doug and his company did a fantastic job.  Doug was great from day one to the end.  He stepped up right away to help give guidance on the masonry build (that he was not accountable for).  He made sure everything was built to code on the masonry side and had them make modifications to make sure the overall project would last.  When it came to his builders and the sub contractors (electrical, gutters), the entire crew was exceptional.  They are all a pleasure to work with and my wife noted that they were all extremely polite and professional.  Doug worked with us on overall design as well as the small details.  Though we had a good idea of what we wanted Doug had great suggestions and worked with us to give us a great outdoor living space.  Materials were delivered and the project went off without a hitch.  Everyone was on the site early everyday and cleaned up before they ended the day.  If any complication arose it was resolved right away and they worked late to stay on schedule.  I would use Doug and his company on any project we would have moving forward.  I would also recommend him and his company/subs to anyone.  I can't image anyone giving them anything less than a strong A rating.  We are very happy with everything they have done and ecstatic over the outcome.  We use the space every day now. <br /> <br />"

"This was the second hot tub we purchased from Fun Outdoor Living as we loved the Pinnacle spa.  The sales process was friendly (Andre) and we felt like we got a great deal.  However, the after-sale service was a little frustrating.  The company drops off the tub and relies on their recommended electrician to provide the hot tub orientation (electrician does great work and is reasonably priced).  The electrician walked us through key items to remember and do once the hot tub was filled.  However, after following the steps we had continuous issues with getting the hot tub clear and chemicals balanced for the next month.  <br /> <br /> When calling the office, the representative told us to drain the tub and add some new chemicals or call the Pinnacle spa help line for further issues (FYI - called the helpline, left two messages, and never received a response).  We were told we would be charged a fee to come out (granted this is within 30 days of dropping off the tub) since it wasn't considered a warranty issue and Fun Outdoor doesn't offer chemical supplies or water maintenance.  After spending over $100 on chemicals and researching the issue on Google, we determined our water had too much metal in it.  The owner at a different hot tub company locally was extremely helpful, taking the time to test our water (for free), recommend the right chemicals, and validate some of the things we found on Google.  Now, after 4 months of having the hot tub, we still love the Pinnacle spa and the water is balanced (had to buy a permanent filter addition to remove water hardness and metals).  It does help to educate yourself on hot tubs as they are not the easiest to maintain or understand.  <br /> <br /> Upon expressing some concerns on the service, Andre personally called and apologized and noted this is not the service level to be expected.  We will continue to go through Fun Outdoor for our service needs as they do understand the product the best. <br />"

"When my husband and I first met George, we could tell right away how genuine he was in his desire to create a unique outdoor living space that would bring our vision to life. He listened and made suggestions without imposing his ideas. He made it clear that he wanted the final product to reflect what we wanted and how we wanted to feel in our space. Matt coordinated the different trades (carpentry, paint, electrical, etc...) really well so that we would stay on schedule and on budget. All in all, we are beyond thrilled with the final product. We were amazed at how closely the computer rendering matched the final product. We would not hesitate to recommend The Stone Man. We really had a GREAT experience from beginning to end.
