"I have hesitated to write this review because the company was supposed to send someone out to do a touchup the next time they were in my area, but they never came.  Since where the touch up is needed (a corner of the tub) isn't really noticeable to me, and as more and more time went by, I just let it go. This is the reason I downgraded "responsiveness" to a B. Otherwise I would have given an A grade because the men who did the work were excellent.
My advice: Don't pay immediately after the job is finished but wait for a bill. That way if something needs to be fixed, the company will have an incentive to send someone out. Since I had already paid in full, there was no such incentive.
I was surprised at the size of the exhaust hose that is used while the tub finish is being applied. Because my bathroom is small, the hose had to go down the front hall and out the front door. Fortunately, the weather was not cold. The finish had to cure before the rest of the work could be completed. The smell wasn't pleasant, but it was tolerable.
I don't remember if it was the next day or two days later that the wall surround was put up over the existing tile, the ceiling lined, and a new drain and new fixtures installed. The installer was a different man from the one who had applied the glaze. He worked very hard, as it wasn't an easy job, due to some irregularities in the bathtub tile area. He also screwed in the grip bars that had to be removed before the wall lining could go up.
All in all I was satisfied with the work, although the caulking that was used gets moldy, and the mold is hard to remove. The wall surround and ceiling, however, do not attract mold, hallelujah.  I thought the price was right. I'm glad I had the work done.

"I am so pleased with how this turned out. I had an estimate months before and it took a little while for the job to get rolling due to coordination issues with other subcontractors. I live in a co-op building in DC with lots of rules about redoing a bathroom, so I decided to use Miracle Method to refinish the walls and floor tile which would have cost several thousands more to remove. The technician was friendly and prompt, The only hiccup during work was that we had parking issues due to the city deciding to block off two streets around my building with zero notice. But we were able to get those resolved. The timeline changed a little bit prior to the job, and we had made hotel reservations (its our only bathroom and we would have no toilet), so communication could have been better on that front as we had to change our plans on short notice. But they were very easy to work with. The results were stunning-- my bathroom looks brand new. I am going to be hiring them again for the tile in my kitchen. I have also recommended them to several co workers who are doing remodels.

"This is the second time I used Hew's for cleaning carpets in a rental property.  When my tenant moved out of my rental property in June, not only did he not bother to clean the carpets, but there were numerous stains in several rooms and the steps on the main stairs were black (the rug is white).  My husband was worried we would have to replace the carpetting.  The owner himself came out and hand scrubbed the stains.  The carpets look great now and you would never know how bad the carpets were.  He also did some carpet repair of a hole on the stairs.   He's a little more expensive that some of the other carpet cleaners, but he really does get the the stains out that the other cleaners can't seem to be able to do.  Well worth the price
