"I was put in touch with a technician named Tom. He was able to help me diagnose the issue with the bake igniter in my gas oven, during a remote video call. Tom sent me a link for the replacement part and explained how to install it. He even gave me a helpful tip for how to clean my oven’s glass window. I was able to replace the part easily using Tom’s instructions. I am very satisfied with the repair and with the help I got from Tom."

"Sorry, looks like this review got stuck in draft mode for quite a while. But the good thing about that is everyone gets to read a review with an update 1.5 years later on the quality of the work completed! In late 2020 I had recently moved into my new home and the gas water heater wasn't working properly. It was leaky and at least needed the pressure relief valve replaced, but the tank was well past it's expected lifetime. The techs were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The valve replacement wasn't going to work because repairing the tank could damage it further, so the tank was replaced instead. The price was very reasonable and installation was done really well. They did a great job with cleanup too! One and a half years later and the tank has had zero issues! I would definitely recommend them for heavy jobs like this or more simple ones around the house. Thank you very much!"

"Our gas oven died one week before Thanksgiving, and the appliance repair service we've used previously didn't respond to my call. Al replied with a quote request promptly, came out same day, and had the oven working again within a half hour. He was professional and courteous, and wore a mask and gloves inside the house. Will definitely use again."

"Hagit and Carleton were easy to work with. They responded to our ideas and created an exciting contemporary design. They provided expertise that makes our medium sized kitchen feel spacious. They came up with efficient and aesthetically clever suggestions to make the cabinetry and countertop beautiful as well as functional. We also recommend their installer, Brian, who took great care in aligning the cabinets so that we achieved a flawless result."

"I've used United Remodeling for numerous renovation projects and cannot recommend Alessandro Ferreguetti and his professional crew highly enough.  For a "makeover" of our suburban colonial-style Weston home in preparation for putting it on the real estate market, United did complete exterior and interior painting, repairs of wood flooring and mouldings, repairs of wooden gutters, installation of new gutters, and numerous other small jobs.  This was a large project (a 9000sf main house and 2 outbuildings), and the United Remodeling crew did whatever it took to make the house look good - as a result the entire estate showed beautifully, and within 3 days of going on the market it sold to the highest bidder for more than the listed price.
I was so happy with United's work on our suburban house that I engaged them again to do a number of renovations for the contemporary-style Back Bay condo to which we subsequently moved.  These highly varied projects included replacement of the entire HVAC system (including ALL of the ductwork behind the walls and ceilings), installing two sets of stacking washer/dryers, renovating a loft bedroom, installing new light fixtures, and building an entirely new outdoor roof deck, in addition to more typical painting, wallpapering, and floor refinishing work.  To succeed, many of these projects required patience, frequent communication, and creative solutions from Alessandro to overcome the tight spaces and unexpected obstacles that are so frequently encountered in older urban buildings.
In the course of these projects, I have personally come to know and trust numerous United Remodeling employees and subcontractors in addition to Alessandro himself, including carpenters, painters, paperhangers, floorers, roofers,  plumbers, electricians, HVAC specialists, metal workers, and other trades people.  Every one of them has been conscientious, courteous, and driven to produce quality work.  To cite just one example, one of our rooms was slightly expanded by removing a non-structural wall, which required laying additional oak hardwood flooring.  The easy solution would have been to lay a simple threshold across the old border and lay new floor boards in the newly created floor area, but that would have made the room expansion obvious.  Instead, and on their own initiative, the United crew painstakingly removed random lengths of the existing tongue-and-groove oak floorboards and installed the new tongue-and-groove floorboards in such a fashion that it is impossible to distinguish the border between the original and the new flooring.  The result was a larger and more beautiful room than ever.
Now, isn't that the kind of attention to detail and pride in the finished product that one would seek in any contractor?"

"Edward with Punctual Appliance Repair was scheduled on the day and did postpone the appointment by a few hours. He diagnosed the problem and needed to order the part. In about a week and a half, the part was secured, replace and the Unit is working fine at this time."

"Northeast Bath built me the bathroom of my dreams and I love it!  Dave Hamblett was the primary worker, though frequently assisted by his father Frank (who handcrafted the cabinetry and handled a significant amount of installation work).  Dave provided a very detailed estimate in record time, and every single item on that estimate was addressed without any surprises.  The core of the project took about 7 weeks, with some delays due to scheduling issues with Town inspectors, and an unreliable electrical subcontractor.  Once the core work was done, we had a fully functional guest bath but without a tiled floor since the chosen tile was backordered.  The master bath was semi-functional due to our decision to go with a custom Basco shower enclosure.  It took nearly three months to get the custom glass doors installed (a long manufacturing cycle) plus some scheduling challenges due to personal business travel.  But it was well worth the wait.  Dave and Frank do excellent, careful work, and use the best available materials.  Dave was a pleasure to work with, and it is fair to say that some key design elements of the master bath resulted from a very effective and open collaboration and exchange of ideas.  While the project was ongoing Dave provided almost daily status updates by e-mail, and was generally highly responsive to email from me.  Because they can fabricate Corian themselves, the price is extremely good, and they could do some creative custom things.  Dave and Frank were very flexible and easy going.  They cleaned up after themselves each day, which was great given that the project lasted so many weeks.  (It really was the custom nature of almost everything which extended the time it took to complete the project.  Dave and Frank clearly emphasized quality of workmanship over sheer speed of completion.  While they worked my project they were not multitasking with other projects.
Overall it was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I would recommend NEBB without hesitation.  That said, there were some minor glitches along the way.  The half-bath tile really ought to have been ordered well in advance of the start of the project; that was a back-office problem.  There were a number of occasions where I felt that I was "leading" them in terms of making critical decisions.  Having already done one bathroom renovation, we knew generally what choices we needed to make and when we needed to make them.  So we generally stayed ahead of demand, rather than waiting for NEBB to walk us thru the process.  Since bath remodeling is their specialty, they really ought to have a methodical, repeatable process for working with their customers, to ensure that everyone knows well in advance what decisions they need to make, so they have time to do the necessary research and make thoughtful choices rather than doing so under time pressure.
But all that was very minor, and completely overshadowed by the beauty of the final product.  We've shown the new bathrooms to all our friends and they all ooh and aah to no end."
