"A few weeks ago our gas hot water heater died. We had never used Valdel Plumbing before but were extremely impressed with the entire experience. We found them on Angie's list as being highly rated and there's a reason for it. We called them at 7:30 in the morning and by 11:30 AM had hot water and that's not exaggerating! Their specialist, Steve Ault was awesome and very knowledgeable. He quickly got to work dismantling the old unit. He even had a new heater and all the parts on his truck so there wasn't even a delay in waiting for parts or a new heater to be delivered. He also installed a drip pan, a pressure regulator and re-routed some of the exhaust piping for better venting. The price they charged seemed to be in line with the work performed. They were very professional; they assessed the job and devised a resolution that did not cost an arm and a leg; did not the removal of any other items in my laundry room and installing any other unnecessary equipment (other company said was required). They cut a pipe, installed flexible gas line and were able to easily install the hot water heater. Thank you for doing only what was necessary! I gave a "B" for quality because I had to call the gas company to have a fitting tightened after smelling gas in the room."
