"First, of the 3 contractors from whom we got estimates, John Garrity spent the most time explaining what he would do, and how, and he paid far more attention to the various details than the other two. Also, especially since the job took 5 full days to complete (and most days were longer than 8 hours), we thought his price was very reasonable. My wife and I also thought that John, Tom and Matt (who have worked with John for many years) were not only very hard working and professional, but all three were friendly, considerate, and very conscientious in their work ethic and affect, i.e., they did an absolutely beautiful and exacting job! (Indeed, I’ll take those 3 any day over other contractor’s host of inexperienced college kids.) They did such an absolutely outstanding job that we really can’t praise the work they did highly enough! In a nutshell, they transformed the appearance of our house from looking old, drab, faded and worn to looking like a new and beautiful house. They really went the extra mile to make everything look perfect. In fact, John even went out to Menards in Avon to get a dozen new shutters for the front and side of the house to replace the old broken and decrepit ones. We will be forever grateful to all three of them for the outstanding work they did to make our house look SOOOOO much better than we could’ve imagined. Thank you John, Tom and Matt!!! PS: I was really quite outraged to see Angie’s List’s 10/3/19 BS notation on how they’re apparently blocking (or hiding) Garrity’s listing over alleged non-payment of advertising. "Sorry I took so long to write this review! Don Cuffari and his company are professional and courteous. Don had good ideas to help us organize our walk-in-closet for our master bedroom. His team was very organized and efficient. They also stand behind thier work. We had some delamination of the material and they returned two times until it was repaired to our satisfaction. The products have worked well in the 4 years since the installation and repair.

"I had all brand new interior doors installed inside my house last winter. Three of the doors were sticking and would not close at all. I called On The Job, left a message detailing my problem, and a short time later I received a call from Bob. I asked if this was the kind of job that he would do and he stated probably but he would like to come out and check just to make sure he knew just what the problem was with the doors. He came out that same afternoon (I think it was 6/6) and scheduled the work to be done on Saturday morning (6/11) since he was involved in other jobs. On Wednesday 6/8, I got a call from Bob that he had some free time between jobs and asked if he could come that afternoon. He and Jeff showed up and had the job done in about 2 hours. They did an absolutely beautiful job. And, no wood shavings were left anywhere at all. They were very organized, professional, prompt and extremely clean workers. I would not hesitate for one moment to recommend On The Job to anyone who needs repair jobs done. I have every intention to have them back again when I have another problem that needs repairing. "

"The company was very responsive initially, coming out to do an estimate and everything quickly. Ray seemed to be very competent and knowledgable about going through Dominion's energy rebate program. Workers showed up and completed the work timely. That was the last positive experience. NRG failed to submit my rebate paperwork, causing me to nearly lose my rebate. When I called/emailed Ray and the company to inquire, Ray failed to respond to any emails I sent. The person in the office assured me the paperwork was sent in (it wasn't). They didn't complete the paperwork properly, so Dominion attempted to reach NRG multiple times, but never received any follow up, causing me to lose some money on my rebate. NRG also had a man come and check out my roof, who told me it looked like it had been damaged in a storm. Attempted to work with him to get it replaced. Should have known it wasn't worth the effort when the guy failed to follow through on calls/emails from myself and the insurance adjuster. Eventually he came out, ripped off shingles when the adjuster came out as part of a "test". The claim was denied and the guy from NRG never really followed up again in spite of multiple emails and calls. So now I have a bunch of torn shingles on my roof and a notice from insurance company to have it repaired or I'll lose my coverage. Supposedly he'll replace the torn shingles, but its been 2 months and they're still missing."

"Teppo Interiors has completed half of their contracted services (ahead of schedule and on that part of the project now complete) and we are extremely pleased with: quality of the drywall repairs and painting of rooms. Teppo Interiors has meticulously repaired the walls of our 1948 home. They are now without flaw as the walls no longer have cracks, "dips, or "bulges". Even though I obviously know where the problems were/are I cannot detect most of them. The painting process has been exactly what I wanted--even when I changed my mind throughout the job. I changed colors desired in the bathroom, after the rooms were painted decided to go for a different color trim. All the changes were made very supportively by Kevin and his team of professionals. I have been kept apprised of the cost of any changes before the work's been done and the hours Kevin and his painters have been extraordinary. I am most appreciative as I will (I'm a teacher) be reporting back to work in only two weeks. I will definitely use Teppo Interiors in the future."

"Kevin and his crew did a great job with painting our entire interior home from start to finish! I really appreciated 3 key things: 1. Being able to communicate via text/ease of scheduling 2. The amount of painters/crew provided enabled us to have our whole 1st and 2nd floor repaired/sanded and painted in just 5 days--giving us our house back quickly was invaluable and 3. Commitment to quality. We had some issues with one of the darker colors. Kevin ensured that he followed up with the paint supplier and brought a different finish to redo the room. On top of those three key things, we are very happy with how everything turned out! Would hire K6 again and recommend to friends/neighbors."

"I am at fault for not activating their service until near the end of the year it was in effect.  My remodel kept getting delayed and delayed.  My initial contact was great from the Homemade Design contact person.  He assigned me  Amanda Z . We conferenced by phone for an hour after she missed the 1st scheduled phone conference.   I emailed photos of my preferences, room dimensions, photos of the room and filled out their online style questionaire.  She e mailed me a design.  A few months later, I did the remodel with MJM Cabinets.  Great assist there. We designed the Murphy bed/storage.  I emailed Amanda a question sometime before the start of the remodel.  Did not hear back from her for the months I was remodelling.  Finally she emailed that l was labelled  as Spam.  No ahswer to my months old design question.  Finished the project.  Amanda's contribution was the positioning of the murphy bed/storage unit and a reading chair.  Emailed her the photos of the room after the contractors left.  Asked her assistance.  She said no need.  That was it.  Got $29 worth of design."
