"A technician arrived at the appointed time and easily diagnosed the problem. I had purchased the unit and had it installed 6 years prior by another company but I couldn't recall if it was still under warranty. The tech did some research and found out it was under warranty and rather than charging me for more than $49 service call, suggested I call the original installing company, since that might save me money with labor, stating he would gladly do the repair if that was my preference. I did decide to call the installer, and that was the right decision since it was a problem with a part they had already replaced for me, they had had the same problem with other units from the manufacturer. I am confident my house will be cool this summer, that's all that counts, right? Even though Huft didn't do my repair, they showed professionalism with helping me come up with the right solution and help me safe money in the process."

"It was a little complicated. As far as the plumbing work, that went fine. They're a little bit high pressure on their service contract. I ended up signing for a service contract for $15 a month. It's an automatic withdrawal so I have to wait for a year to undo it. I just wanted my plumbing fixed. I don't want the service contract. It was a simple job. They're polite. I ended up paying an additional $200."

"Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. "A pleasant experience from start to finish. The quoting process was a good two-way discussion, and cordial - no pushy salesman telling you how bad Company X or Y was. Just honest, factual, and straightforward. They quoted us a system with the panels, racking, and inverter which we wanted, not what they were pushing. The quote wasn't the best (hence the 'B' for price) but it did offer the best VALUE when we considered the equipment specification and the stability of the company - an important consideration when looking at a system with a 25 year life! The installation was scheduled by our coordinator, Sherry, and the team showed up when promised and got the job completed on time. Quality of workmanship was first rate and the entire installation was done with care, and tidied away before the team left. Permitting and PG&E inspection were all handled by Sherry, and that was also quick and flawless. Overall, the system they installed easily meets their projections in terms of performance, and it effectively pays for itself.
