"I had a serious issue with my kitchen sink drain pipe and my bathroom shower stem. Patrick came to my house on time with a very courteous, friendly, professional attitude. As he was repairing my plumbing needs he explained to me step by step what he was doing. He assessed everything to me and in a timely manner was able to complete the jobs with flying colors. I'll tell you this... Patrick is a hero to me. Thank you, Patrick, and thank you A1 Sewer & Drain Plumbing. This business is 2/2 for me and most definitely my go-to company for all of my plumbing needs! I rate you 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!"

"The tub got a little beat up during install which was just as much my fault for picking such a large tub for a tight space as it was theirs, it was more or less expected. But the two things during the install that was in their control was screwing the tub into the wall, which they damaged the acrylic on the tub because they didn't pre-drill the holes, just forced the screws through the acrylic. The second thing was the shower plumbing. The pipe going from the valve to the shower head was bent and they put plyers directly on the shower head pipe which left teeth marks that won't be covered with the trim kit. The bent pipe and damaged acrylic on the tub will be covered once the bathroom is finished but either way the damage was preventable."

"I am amending my earlier review of 01/02/2026 for TR Plumbing. Trevor contacted me after the first of the year to inform me that he is no longer using the services of the subcontractor who was supposed to repair the damage to my bathroom ceiling. He showed up on January 13, 2026 at the time he said he would and repaired the damage. The project is satisfactorily completed."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Williamsburg, VA

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
