We had a blocked sewer line/storm drain that had backed up into the basement. Ace were one of the first companies to call but the only one to ask detailed questions about the problem, rather than just sell me on how quickly they could get to us (which of course does matter and they were out to us promptly and on time). And that also gave me more confidence about the estimated cost range that the Ace rep I spoke with provided. Once Paul and co arrived their assessment was that the blockage was at or just over the boundary line at which point it becomes the responsibility of the MDC rather than the property owner -- which can matter greatly if expensive excavation, Street repaving etc is needed (which I know from a prior battle royale with MDC). The thought of having to again deal with MDC had me at Defcon 1. I watched Paul interact very professionally and courteously with the MDC Inspector (whom he didn't know) ... after a fair amount of deliberation they were able to utilize Paul's equipment in a way that thoroughly resolved the situation without having to elevate things within MDC. When the MDC Inspector confirmed to me he hadn't worked with Ace/Paul and then unsolicited told me Paul was excellent and really skilled, I knew I had picked the right company for the job ... and that was before Paul decided not to charge me for a substantial chunk of the 90 minutes we spent earlier waiting for the MDC Inspector to arrive. While I'm hopeful there wont be a "next time," Paul and the Ace Electric Sewer team are the first company I'll be calling if there is. Cheers"

"Adrian responded to our immediate issue right away (clear clogged drain). While on the job, I had him quote several other plumbing jobs I wanted to have done. He provided fair estimates and did a great job getting the work done. One job involved replacing two old valves on the main line coming into the house. For this work we needed to coordinate with the water authority to have the water shut off. Adrian was very accommodating while trying to schedule the shut off. He always returned calls and texts which made coordination easy and did a great job with the plumbing work. Will definitely use him again for any future plumbing needs."

"Both Tony and Burt showed up on time despite my road was being paved at this time. They inspected my plumbing system. Tony gave me a few suggestions on the upkeep of my oil fired boiler radiation system while Burt found the root cause of slow bath tub drain to be the old plunger type system that may have stripped with the valve in closed position. Tony also pointed out that the ball valve on my main water line wasn't fully open as the reason for drop in pressure in the system. He also explained how I can flush my about 2 year old water heater. Overall they are very knowledgeable and have practical suggestions on common issues. "I called A.D.B after another company was unable to clear out my main sewer line. They wanted to dig it up and repair it for around 10K. They didn't even have a camera available to check. A.D.B was able to clear it out for a reasonable price and offered great advice on what to do from there. I didn't have cracks but roots were getting in through the joints."

"The reason I first hire them is to look at the boiler to reconnect the pipe so I can get it tested. The plumber came and he told me he does not do that work. They lock you in with the deposit and so you use it or loose it. The work that was done was okay. To reconnect two 1.5" drain pipes for $450.00 is a lot of crap. I would not hire anyone that would ask for a deposit, for it is the games that they play. Use it and they still charge you more for the job."

"It went very well. The problem was fixed completely. I'm very satisfied. I thought the problem was simply a defective pressure relief valve. Not the case - the problem was a water logged expansion tank. Joe drained the system, installed a new expansion tank, a new automatic water feed with back flow prevention, a new 30 psi pressure relief valve, and a new automatic air vent. All the replaced components were old, so it made good sense to me to replace them. Joe even installed shut-off valves on the water feed and expansion tank line so that if new the expansion tank ever becomes defective, it can be replaced without having to drain the system. When everything was installed, Joe refilled and purged the system and thoroughly tested it before leaving. I am completely satisfied with the worked performed. Excellent work and good value."
