"What I thought would be a simple snaking turned out to be a month long adventure working alongside James (owner) and John at Mac Home Services. Mac Home was excellent. Immediately addressed any issues, worked steadily (even through the holidays!) to resolve pressing plumbing issues, kept me well up to date, were very reasonably priced all things considered. I would absolutely use them again for any plumbing issues. I can't say enough good things about the experience overall. My house was built in the late 1800s and ad-hoc added on to over the years with varying degrees of professional work and Mac work well to fix it all. I never felt like they were having me on (as a young-ish woman owner) or upselling me on anything."

"They are local in Dorchester and they are professional and offer quality services. You'll pay, however. They charge me $54 per month for the service contract, which is $648 annually. That includes one furnace tune up in fall, 1 A/C check in spring, and 1 hot water heater tune up (hot water is tankless and most companies won't do it). They also offer contract customers 10% off plumbing, with priority service and 24 hour service. That's good. However, you'll have to WAIT for your annual appointments. It's January and I'm still waiting for my fall tune up, because they were fully booked through Xmas, exempting mid-day appointments I'd have had to miss work for. That's a downside. Otherwise, their admins are the best and they offer a good, quality service - price is high though!"
