"They did a good job - I was pleased with the results and the price was fair.  They didn't want to meet in person to go over colors/details which was a little frustrating at first, but it all went fine and the fence looks nice.  I'm watching to see if they missed any spots with the spray but I'll just call him to come fix it if I start to notice any missed spots.  I think it looks nice so I don't think I'll have any problems. 
They didn't get the stain on anything important (like my neighbor's car that was parked right next to my fence) - just on some grass and some Malibu lights that I wiped off myself once they completed the job.  They also navigated the steep terrain of the fence just fine.  I would use them again to re-stain and re-seal the fence in a few years if needed. 
Most importantly:  Chris was one of the only contractors to bid on this job who seemed to have any idea what kind of stain/sealant we should use to protect the investment we made in a new wood fence. If you are getting bids from people who want to use acrylic or Sikkens, I would recommend that you give Chris a call before you mess up your brand new fence or deck.  He was also one of the only ones to recommend a power wash before we stained the fence - the fence had mud on it so the fact that others didn't think it needed a power wash suggested to me they didn't know what they were really doing.
