"After submitted a quote through Angies list, Derek contacted me right away and within 24 we had a deal to install garage door. Garage door came in within the reasonable time frame Derek told me it would. Installation started at 8:45 am and was done sometime between 1-1:30pm. I paid 1,200 for door, springs, hardware, tracks and much more. Some places quoted me $1,200 for just the door and installation. Crews cleaned up all the old garage door pieces nicely, let me know when they where finished and tested the door with me. I couldnâ t be happier with my new garage door."

They didn't have to re-do as much of the adjacent siding (that they had installed previously) as anticipated, and as a result lowered the cost from their upfront estimate. This was at least 2 or 3 years ago, so I don't recall dates or cost."

"Alan responded very quickly to my call. He was there the next day and gave me a good quote. He obviously knew what he was doing. Within a few days, Jose was there to remove the existing gutters so that I could paint the facia underneath before the new gutters were installed. Alan was very accommodating. Within a few days Jose was back to install the new gutters. High quality job, done quickly and reasonably priced. Would definitely hire them again.

"When my roof started leaking I began the arduous task of getting estimates for a new roof. After getting a number of estimates from most of the minor and major roofing companies serving Orange County NY, I was not impressed. Most of the larger companies were expensive and the owner is not involved in the installation. The smaller companies had no website or did not belong to the Better Business Bureau. I also received a couple of estimates from home improvement companies which although they had much lower estimates, they were not accredited with the shingle manufacturer which could void the warranty. As a last resort I called Luna Siding and Roofing, Inc. Their salesman Sam came out the next day and I explained to him I did not need the whole sales pitch about the shingles which I had heard a number of times already. He explained to me that the owner is on site throughout the roof installation. Sam did not give me an estimate on the spot which all of the other contractors previously had. A day or two later I received a detailed estimate of the work to be done with a ton of additional information. I was also impressed with the fact that I was given a 48 hour discounted price which helped to expedite my decision. After doing some research of the company as well as requesting photos of actual work that they had done, I signed a contract. To my luck they had an immediate opening. Within a few days after sending a deposit, the owner Rolando and his crew arrived 7am in the morning and immediately went to work. Unfortunately for me the roof sheathing had two problems, it was only 3/8 inch plywood and portions of the roof exposed to direct sunlight all day had melted the shingles onto the plywood which was impossible to remove. After doing some quick online research and talking to Rolando, I decided to have the entire roof sheathing replaced with 1/2 inch plywood. Although it was unexpected expense, I do not believe in being penny wise and dollar foolish as the saying goes, putting a new roof over questionable roof sheathing could lead to very expensive problems later which the shingle manufacturer may not cover. Rolando was also flexible with allowing me to pay a small balance in the near future after the holidays. The crew worked throughout the day and were completed by 4 in the afternoon. The yard was completely cleaned and the roof looked great. I would highly recommend Luna Siding and Roofing to friends and family."

"Everything went smoothly aside from two small snags. The first electrician brought in, dragged his feet a little bit but once Jason Bell was brought in to replace him, everything electrical went quick and painlessly. The other snag was the bank releasing funds. Every time a payment was due it took longer than expected to go through. Aside from that, Derek answered every phone call, text message and email. He met with us around our schedules. His crew was great. Every one of them courteous, hardworking, and just all around nice guys. Derek worked within our budget and was completely honest with what we could afford and what we couldn't. The work that he and his crew accomplished in our home is beautiful. This house was a very large project to accomplish and remodeling concepts did it afficently. We could not be happier with our home.

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"We hired Lou from Hudson Valley Handyman to wash our windows inside and out. He arrived at the time promised, brought all of the supplies he needed (including a ladder for the higher windows), and worked steadily until the job was done. He was polite, conscientious, and friendly. Best of all our windows are sparkling clean. We plan to hire him in the future for other jobs and would highly recommend him."
