He was also very clean and didn’t leave a mess while working. He installed about 550 sq ft of wood look tile on the patio and 20 sq ft of decorative tile in the powder. Would highly recommend for a tile project."

"From the initial estimate to the completion of the work, it was a pleasure using Ken and his assistant Warren. They started when they said they would and stayed a bit longer than planned to make sure they had thoroughly cleaned up around the work area. Prior to starting the process, they placed protective covers and tarps over the adjacent floor areas. They were careful to contain the grinding slurry using a wet vac to remove excess material. It took repeated passes with the finer and finer grit pads to achieve the final results, but my wife and I are very pleased with the outcome. Even the other tradesmen working in the house were impressed with the improvement. In addition to the refinishing, Ken took time to offer suggestions on maintaining the floor finish along with warnings about what cleaning practices should be avoided."

"The team from Flooring Direct was very professional, arrived on time each day, and took good care of moving appliances to work on the floor. The old vinyl was at least 17 years old and took some time to remove properly, but the crew worked with smiles and cheerful attitudes. The new tile install went well -- attention to detail around corners and under appliances, baseboards, and the cleanup was much more than we would have expected. 2 days of their time and our kitchen truly looks new -- maybe even cleaner than when they started !! Solid Stone Fabricators rep contacted me in a timely fashion reqarding my emailed inquiry via Angie's List where I included a picture of cabinet needing counter and provided measurements and they were able to give me an estimate via phone and email based on the info I provided which I appreciated instead of wasting my time to come out first.
Gerardo who was my contact person was very easy to work with and very responsive to follow-up questions before the install. There was an error that was made by the guys during the install but Gerardo ensured that it was rectified and in a timely fashion as well, pain free which was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family and will use them in the future.
