"I contacted five plumbers asking for the estimated cost of replacing two bathroom faucets. Most companies responded by asking me to call them or by charging a fee to provide an estimate in person. Both practices gave the impression the companies were more interested in a sales pitch than quoting a fare market value for the project. BouVaag was the only plumbing company to respond to the initial inquiry with a cost estimate. Their plumber arrived during the scheduled time window, completed the project in a timely manner, and charged within the quoted estimate. An electronic invoice was sent a week later. Prepare to pay with a check as the company charges a fee for processing debit/card payments."

"I purchased a new shower faucet and cartridge for the repair. Donny told my wife and I to save on the new faucet and wait till we did some wall/tile repair if we were to remodel in the near future. Rather than following our first wishes he may have saved us around $400, or more by being honest and a good guy. We had the cartridge replaced for our Moen faucet. It operates very well and no drips (bad for the Cat though!). We had additional savings when we returned the faucet to Menards. The cartridge was about $36-$39. We have used Randy Lane several times (maybe 5-7 times) and were quite satisfied. They have been our plumber of choice for several years. This was our first plumbing work completed by Donny. Not our last for sure!"

"MN Plumbing was amazing!!!! We purchased appliances from a company who uses MN Plumbing for installations. They went above and beyond by coordinating the installation of several appliances at one time even though the company we purchased from said we couldn't do that. Michelle, the office manager, was wonderfully helpful in the coordination of everything, and their installers, Oakly and Jordan, did an amazing job of installing all the appliances and took the time to explain the operation to us. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up and took all the packaging with them. We will definitely use MN Plumbing for all our future needs!!!"

"We had replacement windows installed recently and needed the windows and trim stained and finished.  Since we both work fulltime, we decided to use Angie's list, plus the clock was ticking on getting the work done before the weather got cold.  Additionally, we needed a faucet replaced in our main bathroom.  A handyman service looked to be our best option.  After going through the list of possibilities, we chose House Doctors because of their good reviews and proximity to where we live.  
I contacted them via an online form and waited for a response.  It did not happen as quickly as I hoped, so I then emailed the same information and heard back promptly.  I wanted to arrange a time for an estimate rather quickly, but this also did not happen quite the way I had hoped.  Eventually, an estimator came by and, to my great relief, he was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.  The person who did our work was very professional and thorough.  His attention to detail was outstanding, both the window trim and faucet turned out very well.  He also cleaned up the areas that he worked in to our satisfaction.  Other than a few problems initially with contacting and getting the estimate, this was a wonderful experience.  We recommend House Doctors for similar jobs of this type.

"Replacing the staircase light fixture was a difficult job requiring the use of a ladder, a step ladder and an aluminum plank to create a level workspace in order to access the light. The new pendant was lowered by 6 inches, compared to the old one, to allow easy exchange of light bulbs. The electrician was creative in solving some installation problems.  He also saved me some money by advising me that some other electrical work I was considering might not be necessary."

"After 15 years in my current home, I was finally getting granite countertops. I was so excited. I went to Paramount on the advice of a friend who had used them. From the start they were very helpful. They answered any and all questions I had. I looked at multiple granite places, and I ended up selecting my granite at another business. Paramount did an excellent job coordinating the delivery of the granite to their site in a quick and efficient manner. The gentleman that came to measure our kitchen was professional and on time. Paramount allowed me to come down to the company and they put up all three slabs they were using for my kitchen and put the template of my counters, island and desktops on them. They were patient and helpful in deciding where to cut the granite to get the maximum effect I was looking for. (Lots of movement). Along the way, I made changes - edges of the granite, backsplash changes and added sinks and faucets. They patiently updated my invoice and emailed me the updates to the project within an hour every time.  I never felt they were frustrated or upset with me, and they treated me with respect. The installers were on time and professional.  They did an excellent job and I love it. I have had many compliments on them and wouldn't change a thing. "Sam did an excellent job repairing our siding.  Since the manufacturer no longer manufactured the exact style, Sam suggested that he could take some existing pieces from the side of the house that had a lot shrub coverage for the repair and replace with a close match.  The replaced pieces are hardly noticeable and hidden by the shrubs. 

His painter also did a great job.  Both gentlemen are friendly and easy to work which is a huge plus from my wife's perspective."

"Sort of stuck with this company because I got on their frequent flyer program for auto withdrawal of $190 a year. ALL I ASK FOR IS TO MY SHOWER TO BE FIXED, so it works, and doesn't leak for close to the original price given, $400 ------ not hundreds and hundreds of dollars more for additional things all around the house I can't afford right now, and don't need right now, after any "I cannot touch faucet or turn valve" forty-five minute "safety check" . I Just asked for a different plumber than the last one and a price quote. - Someone called me seven days later and left a message they would call back within 24 hours. - still waiting today past that time, - left her my cellular number too. Oh well."

They were extremely professional and considerate as I was working on the floor directly below them.? A piece that was installed cam loose a few days later, and they were there in a few hours to make sure it was repaired.? It has been three months and all is great.? It was a tough job - as they had to bust out the old faucet, but they stuck to their original Angie's List advertised price."
