"Called Element and they promptly came out and assessed the situation, and made what I consider a great recommendation to replace it with a dual heat pump and natural gas type system to give us both warmth in the winter and cooling in the summer. They installed when they said they would, and wow, what a quality install which included replacing the 30 yr+ old duct work. They explained and demo'd how the unit worked. They seemed to really know their business. They did a thorough inspection an even discovered that the vent under the kitchen sink never had duct work installed to it when the house was built. I thought the price was fair for what we got. I will say our winter utility bills are significantly lower than they used to be. I liked them so much they will doing the maintence on the unit, and when it comes time to replace the upper unit system we'll select them again. They are that good compared to all the other HVAC service people we've had over the years. Above all they were honest in their dealings, not trying to oversell us like another vendor tried to do."

He was very polite and got right down to business assessing and diagnosing the problem. Mr Redmond did a thorough safety assessment and ultimately repaired the problem for a minimal and fair fee. "Beware that Raleigh Heating and Air like some others requires payment (for their diagnosis of the problem, even though other certified HVAC Technicians have already diagnosed the problem) in order to provide a quotation for the work needed to fix the unit. This pay for quotation policy, whereby the HVAC company refuses to provide a quotation without payment makes it difficult for us to provide this company with a stellar rating, even though their work product may be above average."

"This was a special visit. They had installed a whole house humidifier. We were having trouble with it. They came out and contacted the manufacturer when they found out the model that we had been replaced. They got us a replacement model and they installed that. It was all covered under the warranty for the original whole house humidifier. They did the work quickly and efficiently when the equipment arrived. It has been working fine since then. I thought they did a very good job. They went above and beyond. When we had the problem with the humidifier, Mr. Richardson came out and looked at it. He went to his distributor. They called the manufacturer and he spoke to the engineer with the manufacturer. They had had this problem turned into them several times. They were no longer using the units with this seal. That is where the new model came in. I was impressed with the fact that they stuck with it that long and went to those people and he got the answer. He got us the thing with the replacement humidifier. The workers was Mr Richardson and one worker. They were very efficient getting the parts in and out. I was very impressed. I have been working with them for 3 years now with my annual system check. They always have done a good job and I expect that they will in the future. They picked up everything and picked up all the boxes."
