"Jeff Griffin really knows heating & plumbing! He also recommended 2 excellent 3rd-party companies: 1. Unlimited Removal and Demolition - to drain, cut up, & remove old oil tank; abate asbestos from, and remove, old boiler; remove oil filler pipes & patch foundation with cement 2. Boxford Chimney Sweep - to run a new flue liner and install a new stainless steel chimney cap We hired J.Griffin Heating & Plumbing to disconnect an ancient "snowman-style" oil-fueled steam boiler with attached "instant" water heater, and replace it with a gas boiler & free-standing gas water heater. Fast. Efficient. Clean. Pleasant & willing to answer all of our questions. All 3 companies provided very high quality experiences! I would hire any/all of them again. Bonuses: Sandy Griffin (with JGH&P), & Daniela Ibanez (with UR&D) provided excellent & timely email & phone support. 5 Stars all around!!"

"Great to work with. Would recommend for water heater replacement projects."

"Brian responded promptly with a fair price for replacing my gas hot water tank. He kept me informed when he picked up the new tank as well as when he was en route to my home. He installed the new hot water tank quickly and wiped up the water when he was done. I will use his services again when needed."

"Replacement of 2 heating and a/c systems. Went very well. Professional, courteous, and thoughtful."

"Michael Paone is a pro who knows what he is doing. Shows up on time and delivers as promised. Had a water heater that needed replacing and Paone Plumbing replaced and installed without a hitch. Highly recommend."

"I needed 2 backflow preventers replaced , a water heater repaired and a to0ilet repaired. I had a quote from a very famous local plumbing/heating company for $4000! I called Doug for a second opinion and he came in at HALF the price!! and that was AFTER I showed him the first quote! He didn't seem surprised at all about the first quote. Not only was he half the price but he pointed out that my 6 year warranty on my water heater had 6 months left and said I could get a new one thru that warranty for $100!!! He took care of going thru the company getting me the new heater. He completed the job in a few hours. I will NEVER call another plumber again! My recommendation is to run, not walk, to get Doug for your needs. On top of that he is so very nice. I would give 10 stars if I could."

"The technician and electrician were both very respectful, knowledgeable, provided all options, were open and honest about why they recommend the service chosen, helped in obtaining the financial services, walked me through the entire process. The technician went above and beyond making sure the. After the water heater install was completed he performed a safety inspection on my heating system, cleaned the debris from the flute into the chimney, made a few tweaks here and there to make sure my system was performed to his satisfaction. I was extremely appreciative of his care, concern and professionalism."

"So glad I had a chance to work with O?Brien Plumbing works! I had a scary water heater leak on the night before the night before Christmas - Max O?Brien responded to the Angi post first, and arrived quickly, fixed the leak expertly, and also showed me around the system so I better understand my furnace. Plus he cleaned everything up when finished. He was polite, knowledgeable, and expedient. Thank you O?Brien Plumbing Works!"

"Installed a new A/C system, replacing the old non functioning units. The job was done on time with no surprises. Customer service to set up the appointment was easy and a young man named Josh executed the job with no issue. He seemed to be very knowledgeable on his profession, showed up as expected and left nothing behind but a properly functioning system. Would absolutely recommend this company for their services."
