"I highly recommend Modern Plumbing Systems, Brian Spurlin, 443 623 0709. He repaired my water heater and was prompt, courteous, and honest. He took the time to troubleshoot by text before he came to my house. He then identified and repaired a small problem that saved me from having to replace my water heater. He took the time to answer all my questions by text and at the house. All the positive reviews for Brian are well deserved."

"Saved by Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing (a.k.a ColumbiaPlumber)! (West of Baltimore) Our gas water-heater failed! It’s 30° outside! (Mar 2026). It was leaking, so we shut off the gas, the pilot, and the water inlet, to lessen damage if it burst. Ehrhardt offered a price based on our descriptions and photos, of course with caveats for anything unexpected. A water-heater costs a pretty-penny, but less than we expected. A fair price. They came the next morning, and had the water heater replaced in 90min. Impressive. But the manufacturer sent a unit with a bad pilot! Ehrhardt returned immediately and in 30min, they figured it out. They had a replacement part over-nighted. The next morning, in 30min, done. Hot water. AAAAAHHH :-) The problem was the manufacturer’s fault, and Ehrhardt handled it flawlessly: Excellent communication by Ehrhardt, priority attention to our problem, no excuses, just fast resolution. Great service staff. Perfect!"

"Johnny was very professional in performance of the hot water heater installation and helpful in answering all of my questions. Highly recommend the company. Cheers"

"Mr. Lawal came to the house same day after I discovered the leaking exterior faucet. The repair was not an emergency since there was a dedicated shutoff valve, and so we agreed he would come back to the house in a few days on Saturday AM to do the work. Mr. Lawal showed up as promised on time and was able to fix the faucet without damaging any interior or exterior walls, which I appreciated."

"Within 24 hours of my posting the need to replace my water heater the work was done - very efficient and easy!"

"They were up front with what is wrong. Provided explanation of the quote. Asked permission to get access to places. They explain the reasoning for the cost and the risks if ignored. Pricing was fair. Went above an beyond to solve the water heater issue we had. Even calling in an electrician to help with a fix. They were on-time to early on their scheduled appointments. Excellent customer service."

"We needed a water heater replacement due to a leak in our existing unit. The company came out promptly after our phone call, provided an estimate, and came back first thing the next morning with a new water heater to install. The owner and staff were patient in answering any questions that we had and did an amazing job cleaning up after they were finished with installation. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were very satisfied with their service. They never made us feel as if they were rushing to complete the job. We would highly recommend them!"

"This was a last second thing. Our hot water heater died on us. Left him a message on Tuesday afternoon. He showed up first thing next morning. Right on time. Discussed the job and he gave me a estimate with a small window. And he said he could have me back with hot water in a few hours. Sure enough less then 3 hours later I’m back running. Very good and clean job. Very professional with all aspects of the job which was nice. Best part of it all when it’s time to pay his his price was barely over the low end of his estimate. Everyone else would most likely been barely under the top end of their estimate. So a very good clean job done as a rush for a good price."

"My water heater started leaking on a Sunday. I reached out to Family Fire Service and they responded immediately. They had a new water heater out to my house the next day and installed in a few hours. The supervisor and the tech worked seamlessly to have us up and running. They provided quality service and at a very competitive price. I highly recommend Family Fire Service and Plumbing. KC"

"Inside and outside repairs were handled efficiently and with extra care. House rules followed because of pets. Costs were presented, reviewed and approved prior to repairs. I would rate this project 5 stars"
