After contacting 3 other plumbers with no success because they were busy with other customers, I went to home advisers and requested emergency service from several plumbers in the area and Rene from R plumber called within 10 min and was at our house within the next hour (very prompt). We had no idea where the water was coming from and Rene was very upfront about what needed to be done as far as cutting holes in the wall to find the source. He cut one hole in the bathroom ceiling and found a pipe completely severed which he was able to fix an restore water. His customer service was superb. THANK YOU VERY MUCH RENE!"

"This is the second time I've hired DB's Plumbing & Drain and I continue to be very happy with them. This time, there were two problems: A main sump pump that had died and a backup sump pump I had connected with flexible tubing which began springing pinhole leaks within months and spraying water all over the room. DB's swapped the dead pump with a spare I had on-hand and reattached the backup pump to the outflow pipe with standard PVC piping. They also joined both pumps to the main pump's larger outflow pipe with a Y-junction which should improve the backup's rate of flow. While they were at it, they replaced the check valves and disposed of a lot of rusty nails and junk that had been swept into the sump pit over the years. All told it only took 2 hours and now everything is quieter, no water spraying around and I have peace of mind that the place isn't going to flood in the next winter storm."

"The technician was not only on-time, he called me when he was 20 minutes out to assure me he was on the way. He had all of the necessary parts and equipment on his truck and was completely done with the project -- replacing the glass and seals of my gas fireplace -- within 45 minutes. While the old glass was removed, he cleaned the interior of the fireplace and replaced the old embers, neither of which was required by the contract. After putting the new glass and seals in place, he then tested to ensure no carbon monoxide was seeping into the house. The fireplace looks like it is brand new and it functions perfectly. I am totally satisfied with the job, and the price was very reasonable. The technician left details of a service program, but did not pressure me in any way to sign up. "Without a doubt, I will call this company for any future needs. Last year, I had regular maintenance done on my furnace and they scared the crap out of me when they told me I needed a bunch of work done and repairs on my gas furnace. I held off and crossed my fingers all last winter and decided this year was finally time to face it... so began the phone calls.. then I got a return call from Parrish services. Alan, the owner, came to my house at 7 p.m. on a Friday to do a check on my gas furnace. "The individual who fixed the gas fireplace was very good and thorough, as well as friendly and professional. My only complaint is with the appointment process - it took a few days to get an appointment set up because they waited almost 24 hours to return my first call. I wasn't home, but returned their call within an hour. Then it took over 24 hours to return my second call. I was in the process of looking for another contractor when I got the second call-back. I was not in a hurry to have the problem fixed, but since I was having trouble finding contractors who worked on fireplaces, I was anxious to get an appointment set up."
