"Challenging steep slope to navigate to correct lower walk-out level water infiltration along the slope including working around ALL utilities through the wall and a site sprinkler system. As part of their work they corrected a roof down spout and drainage concern not related to the waterproofing work. Absolutely no problems with their work or the restoration of the slope. They cleaned up after the work and even had an unfortunate diesel fuel spill on my driveway, they power washed its entire length of 130-feet. Ryan and his crew were a pleasure to work with. "The encapsulation went very well. The workers removed existing insulation and did a nice job putting up new insulation. They also sprayed the mold on the floor joists above, although that cost extra. The problem arose when the foreman came to rear of the house to see the patio to be removed. He seemed completely surprised at its size and told me quite frankly that they were not given its dimensions, and so had no way to haul that much concrete away that day. The fact that they didn't have the size of the patio is bizarre, since an inspector came to our house twice (once to quote, the other to sign documents) and had measured the patio both times. The workers broke up the concrete and said they would arrange for someone to come out and remove the concrete-- also frustrating as I'm a teacher, and this work was being done the very last weekday of summer break. Now I can see how miscommunications can happen, and I understand that the workers couldn't haul away the material that day. That's not my issue. My issue is that here we are Wednesday of next week, and not only does my back yard still look like the apocalypse has hit, but they didn't even call to schedule anything! I've heard nothing! When I called them myself at 4PM I was sent to the scheduling people only to get a recording and a voice mail! When you mess up, it's only a problem if you don't make it right, and these people seem wholly unconcerned that they messed up and left a huge mess in my back yard. I understand that the removal of concrete isn't their forte, but this is just silly. Update: After calling, they scheduled an appointment to haul away the concrete the next week, and while they did it, the representative was really pushy trying to upsell me on tons of extras. If I ever need work done on my foundation again, I will definitely find someone else. I suggest you consider doing the same."

"First, the nightmare driveway: We bought the house new in 2002. In the first couple of years of construction in the sub, the builder had to demolish & replace 50+ driveways due to improper design & prep of the fill. Mine was to be replaced but the builder went toes up prior to replacing my drive. Within 2 years a couple of adjacent slabs had sunk in the middle of the slab noticeably and it only worsened from there. Fast forward to today. The HOA (never again) was on my case to fix the driveway or suffer fines. 
As the concrete is 15 years old & spalled from the salt, I looked first at replacement. The single-car drive is not huge but I was still looking at a range of $2700-3500 to rip & replace. Being upside down as many of the houses in the area are, I didn't feel that I could invest that amount so I looked at leveling instead. I received several quotes and selected Lift and Level based on cost & other reviews on AL.
The crew showed up on time (even a bit early) and were onsite about 6 hours. The driveway was so uneven that they pumped 11 yards of fill and even had to leave to 'reload' and return, which they did promptly. There were a couple of areas where the edges opposite of the sunken edge had 'heaved' so severely that I was told that they probably wouldn't become 100% level. Watching the crew work, however, it was clear that they had enough expertise in leveling that even working with this 'tricky' situation, they were able to achieve very good results. No it's not perfect on a couple of the outside edges but the way that they 'split the difference' made it look darn good and virtually eliminated all trip hazards. 
The crew was friendly, punctual and professional. At one point another crew even showed up to review the work and offer suggestions on the difficult areas. At all times the crew worked with a very large level, I'm assuming to ensure drainage away from the house.
The work is warranted for 2 years and they were sure to tell me to give them a call if any adjustments become necessary.
Time will tell, but seems like a great job & a good option to replacement when money is an issue.

"Nosh drilled small holes in areas of the driveway and used a special machine to put concrete under the slab of existing concrete to raise it up. It looks better but Nosh has high standards for himself. He was not happy with the results. He was able to see that the person who originally put the driveway in didn't use proper materials. This caused support material to wash away. There were very large spaces under the slabs that would take multiple truck loads of concrete to fill them in. Nosh did not feel right about charging for his work. He and his employee worked very hard all day but he would only allow me to pay for the materials he used. It is not very often you find someone as honest, diligent and has the high standards he has. In addition, he is very fair with what he charges."
