"The plumber answered my initial call and I was able to describe the problem we were having with the guest room shower fixture that only produced very hot water. I sent him a photo of the fixture. He came the next morning and replaced the cartridge, unclogged the drain in the tub, and fixed the stopper that was not closing properly. All of his services were priced reasonably!"

"10 stars from me. The first time I called Hoffmann for a leaking from water main. Dane and Dan fixed it for $400, in two hours. They are the best price in 4 plumbing companies I called. The highest estimate of the 4 was $1800!!! I believe Hoffmann gives fair price and does great job. The 2nd time I called Hoffmann because I DIY replacing shutoff valve under the sink. Dane called me back asked what I was doing and what was the problem. After asking several questions, he finds out what I did wrong. He advised me to cut the pipe and connect the value again. It works fine. I don't know many plumbers give free advices! 5 stars again. I will definitely use Hoffmann in the future. I definitely recommend them to anyone!"

"We highly recommend First Source Contracting. Keith services all of our heating and cooling needs. Our relationship started with an annual check of our heating system and air conditioning. He is professional, very knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond with all his work, so when we discovered that our radiant heat system was leaking, it was only natural that we would call Keith. Of course, he did a great job and we couldn't be happier! Thank you so much, Keith!"

"They were scheduled to come out for a minor issue but that morning we had a major pipe burst with flooding. they quickly were able to attend to he larger leak and creatively and carefully applied the correct fix(es). Kevin, our plumber, was terrific and we will always call Anthony when we need these services. We have had three interactions with them and it has been terrific, fairly priced and professional."

"Kyle ,a partner at Brescore was first introduced to me as a subcontractor for the whole house generator that was being installed at my residence. I was impressed by his professionalism, efficiency & commitment to getting the work done. He came on a sunday, before his vacation to install the gas line so as not to hold up the whole process. Subsequently, I have used him at least 4 other times as HVAC to repairs various issues in my medical office & home. Both partners are extremely professional, friendly, prompt & most important sincere & honest. On one occasion, I was having a problem with one of the ACs in my home. He came promptly & could not find any HVAC issue as he did spend time to analyze the problem. He was convinced it was an electrical issue & even consulted with an electrician friend of his. The following day, he even tried to get me an appointment with the electrical contractor that installed my generator. As a courtesy, he declined payment of his service call. True enough, the problem was electrical in nature & the problem was resolved when the electrician came. <br /> In summary, the two owners are knowlegeable, very professional, polite, honest & certainly performed for me above & beyond their call. I will continue to use their services for sure. <br />"

"He is a great guy and he helped us with the plumber. He has a very big experience in house painting. We found them on Angie's List. He still maintains our sink and help us. He has a very good price because it is more and more expensive with the others. We will surely use them in the future. We still do things and he maintains our cooling system."

"We lost hot water Saturday evening and noticed that the pressure relief valve was leaking water. We called multiple plumbers and Steven was the only one to call us back same day within a few minutes. He was gracious enough to squeeze us in as his next appointment. During the visit he explained our issues in friendly and comprehensive manner. He ended up changing the pressure relief valve and installing pressure reduction valve and accompanying chamber. He also fixed our outdoor leaking faucet in the same visit. The work had excellent craftsmanship and very fair price."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Lebanon, NJ

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
