"He could not reach far enough in to find the pipe. He could not fit through crawlspace in backyard. He showed me the twisted pipe end. It looked like a Dairy Queen or swirly frozen yougurt. He had to leave for another job. This took a long time, but he said he could cancel the rest of his appointments for the day and work on this. The price he quoted me was for $450-500. I called my regular plumber, who did the job at a much more reasonable rate, although I would not have needed that service if the pipe had not een so severely damaged. The second plumber showed me how it was supposed to look, and it was like a larger metal drinking straw or conduit. On the plus side, he did leave a new faucet and he did only charge me the Angie's List previously agreed on price. He did spend a lot of time in the cab of the truck, talking on his cellphone. He seemed to be an okay guy. <br />"
