"On November 15th Chicago was hit with some extreme wind gusts that caused my water heater pilot light to extinguish. I thought this was a simple reset, but the problem was more complicated. I learned the electrode was defective. Had I undertaken this project as a DIY, I would have spent more time than I would have cared to try to figure out why I could not get a flame for my water heater. I was smart to call Four Seasons. My technician figured out the problem quickly. There are times when calling a professional makes sense. I am not an expert on water heaters outside of knowing how to turn it on, clean it periodically, and knowing when I need a new one. Thank you Four Seasons for responding quickly and bringing me hot water."

"My old hot water heater died, and a friend installed a new small 40 gal tank. But I never had hot water after that. I also had a leaking lead pipe. Patrick came and had to be a sleuth to try to determine the cause of the missing hot water. The tank was too small and not functioning, but the real problem was a crossed pipe somewhere in my 1890 house. He found the pipe location in the basement and put in a shut off valve, which gave most of the house hot water. He also put in a high quality 50 gallon tank, and repaired the leaking lead main. To completely fix the hot water, it will mean opening walls, so we left a small 1/2 bath sink and attic sink to be fixed at a later time (or not....).. This was all around Easter, but he put in long days to get it all done."

We had John come out and take a look and he told us he could do the same work for almost $800.00 less! I can't say I didn't have some trepidation. "He showed up on time. He found that our AC coils had frozen and explained that we probably had a refrigerant leak. He set up a catch pan for the melting ice with towels to catch any further moisture and then set an appointment with me to come back later in the day once the ice had melted. He came back the second time and worked past 6 to get everything finished and didn't charge for overtime or the second visit. My AC unit is up in a cubby hole 8 feet up from the floor and a pain in the a** to access. I provided the ladder but he didn't complain at all."
