This year, Alliance United completed 3 plumbing projects for us. In Jan-Feb 2023, Alliance United replaced a combined length of 46-ft (approx.) of deteriorating 3-in cast iron sewer line on our 4-unit property. About 30-ft ran under a ground floor concrete slab, under the front steps, and onto the city sidewalk to the city sewer line. A lot of jack hammering and hand digging with shovels was required to expose and replace this deteriorating sewer line. Following city inspection, which passed without a hitch, every bit of excavated dirt/soil was put back in place, compacted, and new concrete was poured to replace all that was jack hammered. In the process, another 3-in sewer line was discovered to be buried under our garage concrete slab that connected to the street. Thankfully, Javier determined (via cable camera) this 18-ft cast iron pipe could be serviced (hydro jetting) and the interior relined using a chemical resin/fiberglass process. That section of sewer pipe now has a strong and smooth resin lumen, fortified with fiberglass, and should last for decades! In early May 2023, a second story toilet and bath tub backed up with raw sewage each time a third floor toilet was used and flushed. Alliance United cut away the ceiling sheet rock on the ground floor and exposed a horizontal 3-in cast iron branch line that was obstructed by scale build up, waste, and rust. Leakage was also imminent due to cracks in the pipe walls. All the connections to this branch line were replaced using ABS, including the 23-ft (approx.) branch line itself. Now the second and third floor toilets flush and the bath tubs drain without any backflow, without obstruction, and without any leaks! In June 2023, we experienced another leak from the ground floor ceiling. When the sheet rock was opened, a 2-in cast iron horizontal branch line that drained the third floor kitchen sink was found to be rusting and leaking from several cracks in the cast iron. This 5-1/2 ft cast iron branch line was replaced with ABS, along with several other cast iron fittings. Like the other two earlier plumbing problems, the Alliance United team resolved this issue like the pros they are! My husband and I are dubbing 2023, the â Year of the Leaksâ ! Throughout each of our plumbing nightmares, there was one plumbing company, Alliance United Plumbing,that helped us to resolve all these problems. Javier and his team are truly honorable individuals who care most about doing their best work, offering the best service, quality, and warranty to all their customers at reasonable cost. "Roland was available quickly to replace my valve in the tub. He came at the time of our appointment and completed the entire job with no issues. I asked him to cut out a piece of the fiberglass of our tub to access the old valve and he completed it very neatly and with no mess. "I have 3 Kohler Rialto one piece toilets that are very difficult to repair.  The toilet seats attachment connections are not accessible so you have to remove anchors from the top and then insert and attach new anchors.  I replaced the seats on a couple of them myself and it was an incredibly difficult process of trying to drill or break out the old anchors.  Adding the new ones seems easy.  Unfortunately if you tighten the new anchor too much it can expand and crack the toilet.  Which I did. <br /> So now I had to replace one of the toilets. <br /> I contacted Albano's and explained that I needed to have the toilet replaced in the next two days because my wife was returning from a trip and would be very unhappy that I destroyed one of our toilets while she was gone. <br /> They sent Eric out within 30 minutes with the new toilet, at less than it cost from Home Depot, and he completely removed and replaced the toilet perfectly. <br /> These are expensive toilets.  However, they told me up front what it would cost including service and they did exactly what they said for exactly the price they told me.  No shenanigans. <br /> Eric was extremely helpful and professional.  I will definitely use them again if I need any plumbing done. <br />"

"Unfortunately there was a defective fitting that caused a pipe to burst. The house was vacant so we didn't learn about it until the next day. Alvin bent over backwards to repaire the damage, replace the ruined water heater, and make us whole. He even changed the water heater to a tankless model because the location of the ruined water heater didn't meet code and tankless was our only option."

"Good Guy Plumbing was able to come out to the house and provide a price quote the same day I called for a job to replace our main water line in front of our house. It had a pinhole leak. The price estimate was fair and a little less than another competing plumbing service in our area. They were able to schedule the plumbing crew to come out the very next day to do the work, and they got it all done in the time frame they promised within just that one day. The two crew members were professional, thorough, answered all our questions, and did a good job of cleaning up when the job was done. They even fixed a small, second leak they happened to see in our sprinkler pipes while they were doing the main line replacement. The new main water line has been in place for over a week now, and everything is working as it should. The only reason I gave Good Guy Plumbing an overall rating of 4.5 instead of 5 is because of a small issue that came up related to the price quoted and the final price. The price quote was based on their initial assessment that our main line should be replaced with a 3/4-inch pipe. However, once the crew dug up the old pipe, they discovered that the old main line had been 1-inch diameter, and installing a new 1-inch pipe added $200 to our final price. The crew let us know as they were starting the job that they would need a larger pipe, and that the price quote would increase by $200. Despite this issue, I think it was an honest mistake which the owner apologized for, and I would use Good Guys Plumbing again."
