"Our 30-ish year old condo had two nearly original construction bathrooms that were in need of an upgrade. I contacted several contractors in the area to start the process. Alan was prompt, friendly, and straight forward in his initial consultation. His rate was very competitive against other firms - we were just looking for labor cost as we would purchase nearly all materials - and we are very glad we chose Click. Our two bathrooms were renovated back-to-back and were complete tear outs - new tub, toilet, vanities, tile, lights, etc. I dealt with the same crew, headed by Marlin, from Click everyday of the process and they were friendly and professional. Any major renovation like this a little unsettling from a homeowner view point - all the chaos, dust, and anxiety - but Marlin and crew showed up on time everyday, worked hard, kept things as tidy as could be, and did a great clean up job. We are extremely happy with our new bathrooms and would not hesitate to reach out to Alan in the future."

"I am thrilled with the complete master bath remodel and kitchen that Tony & his incredible crew from Manex recently completed in my home. It was a great experience from start to finish. This company truly works as a team, communication channels are all open. Even when a hiccup occurred…they addressed it immediately & moved forward. The crew was professional & positive…really a pleasure to have them in my home. Tony went above & beyond in every aspect including making sure I was not simply satisfied with the work but truly happy. I also want to thank his crew member Jimmy . He did an exceptional job & really kept the work site clean every day. I will absolutely use Manex remodeling again for future projects."

"We hired Steve Everett of DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen for two remodeling projects in 2012 and another in 2016. We happily award them an A rating. The first time we hired Steve Everett we asked him to remodel our master bathroom, a remnant of the late 1970s. Steve worked with us every step of the way. After carefully measuring the space available, he offered a number of options for how our bathroom might be renovated. Once we decided on the bathroom’s new configuration, styles and colors, Steve and his competent crew went to work. They immediately impressed us by employing large screens and tarps to protect our adjoining rooms and furniture. They took great care to keep dust and disruption to a minimum. Then, after painstaking preparation, they installed a beautiful tile shower and floor and a new cabinet and sink. The quality of their workmanship quickly became apparent as they worked toward project completion. Once complete, we were amazed at how different our upgraded bathroom looked and how DreamMaker made it so much more appealing. We also seemed to gain space, a direct result of Steve Everett’s more efficient design. We love our larger shower and feel much safer with the expanded floor space. After a wonderful first experience with DreamMaker, we again hired Steve Everett to remodel our second bathroom. This time we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. Then, in 2016, we hired DreamMaker for a third project. We were confident DreamMaker could deliver and that is just what they did. Steve Everett and his DreamMaker crew successfully updated our 1970s era bathrooms bringing them into the 21st century. Not only do we now have renovated bathrooms to enjoy, but should we decide to sell our house one day, we will likely gain additional profit from our investments through DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. In sum, Steve Everett of DreamMaker epitomizes the consummate professional contractor. Aside from being a skilled craftsman, he is an honest and fair businessman. He employs competent and talented workers and his prices are very reasonable. In short, we highly recommend DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen."

"It's been a few weeks since Z&O Construction completed my small bathroom remodel and I am extremely pleased with the outcome - it's beautiful! All the plumbing fixtures and finishes are holding up and functioning well due to proper installation and excellent workmanship. Although I am an architect, this was my first time working with a general contractor for my home and the process was seamless. I did the design, selections, and majority of procurement, then Z&O was able to work within a rapid timeline to start the project once I received all owner-provided items and completed in 7 business days, putting in some extra hours to see the project through. The team has extensive experience from demo to rough-in to painting, plumbing, electrical, tiling, and cabinetry. They were responsive and direct with communication preceeding, during, and after the project. Whenever an issue came up or intent was unclear, they asked for clarification and fixed any issues. For example, they installed the vanity multiple times because of drawer hitting door frame and existing drain pipes not being centered so it was installed correctly, not haphazardly. They always did their best to keep the other areas of my small apartment clean and I fully trusted them in my home even when I could not be present. Their fee aligned with market rate for a small bathroom remodel, and I definitely got the value for the price. I had piece of mind hiring a knowledgeable GC because it removed liability for me living in a multi-unit condo building and meant the project would get done faster as it is the only bathroom I have. My only feedback is that I had provided drawings, specifications, and installation guides, as well as additional information, but it was unclear that this had been fully reviewed or distributed to the whole team. Z&O can also be better in formatting and thoroughness of their estimates as what I received was only a rough word doc. Simple administrative systems could help reflect the otherwise very professional reputation. As I plan a kitchen remodel next, I look forward to the opportunity to work with Z&O Construction again!"

"Gary Golman and REO-ServicePro, Inc are incredible! We needed work done quickly to comply with a housing inspection prior to sale of our home and Gary and his team were responsive, thorough, and timely. Gary completed the work ahead of schedule and on-budget. I was impressed that Gary replied within an hour to my initial request for an estimate and then came to our house that same afternoon. He quickly - and accurately - assessed what needed to be done, took thorough measurements, and sent us a detailed estimate within 24 hours. His team got to work within days and Gary was personally involved with daily oversight as well as some of the work. Professional, courteous and efficient do not fully describe how satisfied we were with the work done by REO-ServicePro and Gary Golman. We highly recommend him for any renovation, reconstruction, or new addition for any home. A++++"

"We selected DMV based on our previous experience with the company starting with Rolando who successfully remodeled our kitchen and 3 baths back in 2015 and with Javier in remodeling of 1 bathroom, construction of an outdoor shed, and finally remodeling of our 1st and 2nd floors. For details on this more recent 2022 project consult my review elsewhere on Anji. . The construction area consisted of two sides of the basement--the “finished” side for an office *** guest room plus a small hallway; the other, a larger “unfinished” side for storage. The project began by moving everything in the small hallway to other parts of the house. Then they cleared what would be the “finished” side of the basement moving the sofa bed, several desks, 3 bookcases, a couple office chairs, a table, several bookcases, 7 file cabinets, clothes and other items from the closet, and numerous boxes of books plus files removed from file cabinets to the other side of the basement or, when necessary, to other parts of the house, outdoor shed, and garage while they worked on the “finished” side. Some of the items in the “unfinished” side had to be moved out of the basement to another part of the house to make room for heavier items that could not be lugged upstairs without breaking someone’s back. Two more file cabinets that I had not yet emptied they moved on a dolly to the other side of the basement. I regretted having emptied the 7 other file cabinets so that even more boxes with file contents had to be carefully labelled and moved to the other side. That was my fault! It was a complex undertaking since we were adding to what was already stored on the “unfinished” side, but the men were creative, cooperative, and experienced in meeting the challenge with us. The work began on the “finished” side and small hallway with demolition of the existing ceiling and lighting. Once the men cleaned up that mess they installed electrical cabling, wood, and drywall for the ceiling. They repaired the 2 feet of drywall around the bottom perimeter of the wall. Once the basic structure was in place they applied 2 coats of plaster to the walls and ceiling, and then sanded them. They taped the corners and joints. Following our selection of paint, they applied primer on the walls and ceiling, sanded, and then applied 2 coats of off-white paint to the walls and ceiling. What a beautiful transformation of the walls! To prepare for the installation of the luxury vinyl tile floor planks on the “finished” side and hallway they evened out the existing concrete with additional concrete. They lay the beautiful, brownish-gray floor planks on the concrete floor. Javier convinced us that the brownish-gray would be a good selection and he was right. Then the men installed baseboards and shoe molding around walls of the finished side and hallway. At some point they installed 8 recessed lights. What amazing acoustics in that room while it was still empty! In the latter phase of the “finished” side Alvaro repaired, sanded, and painted the stairway and lay the luxury vinyl tile floor planks to the stairs. To match the stairway, he sanded and stained the stair railing to match the stairs. He also repaired, sanded, and painted the walls off-white on either side of the stairway and the ceiling. Finally he painted the door separating the basement and kitchen. What a major transformation of that stairway! We were so pleased with the results! In the next phase of the project we transferred our attention to the “unfinished” side. After covering all the furniture, boxes, etc. with plastic they installed electrical cabling, wood, and dry wall on the ceiling. Then they applied plaster to the ceiling, sanded it, primed and painted it with 2 coats of paint. Then they installed 11 recessed lights to what previously was a deep, dark dungeon. When that major work was completed and the plastic removed, they vacuumed the area as best they could and moved the furniture and some of the boxes and bins back to the “finished” side. After a gap in construction Alvaro installed four heavy-duty, industrial-welded, steel storage units with adjustable shelves along the walls of the “unfinished” side of the basement so we didn’t have to worry about flimsy shelves collapsing with the weight of heavy boxes and plastic bins. Gradually we filled the shelves and file cabinets, moving some items temporarily stored in other parts of the house back to the basement. Alvaro (?) also installed a steel storage unit at one end of the garage to hold our daughters’ heavy boxes, some of which had been moved out of the basement and were collapsing with the weight of far too many boxes stacked on each other. Thanks to Javier for that creative solution to the problem! The DMV workmen did some additional jobs not directly related to repairing and painting walls and ceilings, installing hardwood/vinyl floors and lighting in the basement. Once the major work was done in the basement they went upstairs and moved some of the remaining displaced items to other parts of the house, garage, and shed. They installed a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, secured 2 bookcases to the wall, installed 3 transition pieces on the floors beneath the doorways, and installed 3 dimmers for the lights. After completing most of the work in the basement they performed extra tasks not listed in the contract upstairs, tasks like tightening the screws in a door that would not close, installing a toilet seat, repairing a knob on one of our utility closets, and moving an office chair in the family room to the garage for goodwill. Fabio installed 4 internet connections: 2 in the basement, 1 in the family room on the ground floor, and 1 in the den on the second floor. Finally my husband and I could use our computers! Then when all was said and done the men installed dimmers swept and cleaned the two sides of the basement and hallway one last time. Muchas gracias to Alex and Wilmer for doing most of the moving, cleaning, and trash collection, to Alvaro and Cesar for doing the construction including installation of the shelving units, to Fabio for installing the 4 internet connections, and to Orlando and Jose for wrapping things up at the end. Bon trabajo! The quality of materials and workmanship on the basement remodeling was exceptional as we have come to expect of this company. And because we are an elderly couple we really appreciated the extra help in moving things around in the basement and around the house. The workmen were reliable, polite, honest, skilled, hardworking, and flexible in adjusting to additions and changes from time to time. They always took extra care to clean up at the end of the day and to pick up trash as it was collected. The price seems reasonable given the extra work not previously budgeted. Javier was great at planning, communicating, and allowing for extra time when we needed it to make decisions on where to put things or to do some of the moving ourselves, but he could certainly have benefited from having a right-hand man to assist him when he was not immediately available. We would highly recommend DMV for home remodeling projects. We selected DMV based on our previous experience with the company starting with Rolando who successfully remodeled our kitchen and 3 baths back in 2015 and with Javier in remodeling of 1 bathroom, construction of an outdoor shed, and finally remodeling of our 1st and 2nd floors. "Jose and his crew are outstanding. Their attention to detail, cleanliness, and respect of our home was incredible. Jose is so easy to work with and he is accessible almost 24/7. I would highly recommend Munoz construction and my family will never use another contractor besides Jose. Bathroom #1 - this bathroom had major issues. The floor was damaged and the shower was leaking. Jose replaced the entire subfloor, shower/tub, title, vanity, and all electrical. This was a major job. Everything was strengthened and given strong structural support. It is now extremely safe and beautiful. Bathroom 2 - the master shower also had a leak and poor tile work from a previous remodel. Jose replaced all the tile and rebuilt the shower pan. He was able to save an expensive shower door from the previous remodel. We also decided to replace the title floor during the remodel and it was not an issue and Jose never questioned our request. LVP Floors - Jose replaced the kitchen, dining room, hallways, and stairs with LVP. Selecting the product was simple and Jose was helpful throughout the entire process. The product was of high quality and is extremely durable. The stairs were replaced with wood and painted to match the LVP. This was done for durability and quality. The stairs match the LVP perfectly. All the walls were also painted. There was some drywall repair throughout the process too. Jose made sure to strengthen all the walls and it looks fantastic. Seriously, we couldn’t be happier with this job. I wish we would have found him years ago so we wouldn’t have had to redo a previously completed renovation done by another company. We highly recommend Jose and Munoz Construction for any and all jobs."
