"Al's Plumbing is the best. They called me right away when I requested a quote from several plumbers. Al the owner called me. I explained I had a Water Heater under warranty that was placed by Parker & Sons 4 years ago. They wanted to charge me almost the same price as I paid for it 4 years ago just to replace it. They said that is for the labor but it was under warranty. Al was super professional and very helpful. Al replaced it in a couple of hours and we had hot water! I will only use Al's Plumbing for all my Plumbing services. He is honest and gets the job done. Thank you Al!!"

"Water heater broke on Sunday, made a bunch of calls around town to get it fixed, Ace was the only one that called back on Sunday and they came out early on Monday. They installed a tankless water heater and by 3 p.m. The best part was that they were be to offer to finance the job at a much lower interest rate (9%) compared to home depot (23%). "Excellent work by an efficient and profession plumber. Bought the tap install through Angie list but was informed upon arrival that changing the turn offs was not included even though I had the taps and all the valves and lines. The up charge was another 120.00 to change valves and lines along with the taps. The outside hose tap cost another 80.00 to change out with me supplying the new tap. The plumber arrived and completed all the work in 45 minutes plus another 15 minutes for paperwork. Including the price I paid to Angie's List, this one hour job ended up costing over 250.00 for 1 hour labour as I supplied all the plumbing parts. The work was well done, but 250.00 an hour for a plumber is outrageous. Would not recommend them for this reason. Buyer beware that adding on extra work on an Angie list price is very expensive."

"After looking over the reports on Angie's list, I decided to go with Thornton Plumbing based on reports. My husband called July 1, and received an apology that they would not be able to come out that same day-which we would not have expected! Service was set for the following day with a time frame from 9-10:00AM. We did not ask for an estimate of the job. Mike arrived right on time at 10:00. We introduced ourselves, and Mike went to work. I asked if there was anything we could do to assist, and when he opened the cabinet door below the sink and saw that it was cleared out, he said, "Nope, this makes me smile." Due to the hard water we have in Phoenix, there was a build up of water marks around the base of the old faucet. We have a Corian countertop that can be sanded with a fine grit of sand paper to remove the water spots. We did not have any of the needed sand paper, and Mike stated he would bring in a mesh sheet from his truck that could work. He did not have to do so, but removed the water spots (and crust) with Soft Scrub and the piece of mesh prior to installing the new faucet. The installation took approximately 40 minutes. When asked for any tips with maintenance, Mike suggested taking action at the first signs of a leak that could mean replacing only necessary internal parts rather than a whole faucet. It was also a plus having the $20 coupon offer from Thornton for the work performed."
