After asking some questions he was able to give me information about the specific water softener he felt I needed, pending confirmation of water testing which he would perform when he arrived, and he provided a firm price. What I really appreciated was that there was no sales pressure and no efforts to upsell, which is what I experienced from his competitors. (He even recommended against a service I was considering, saying it wasn't needed and not worth spending the money on). He was personable on the phone and installed the unit the next day. He and his associate arrived on time, were very professional, and completed the installation in less than 2 hours. During that time he answered any questions I had and even did some non-related value-added tasks at no charge (like supporting some copper pipes that were hanging loosely). The final cost was as promised with no surprises. Overall it was a good experience! Mike and his associate were very personable and friendly while acting in a professional manner! He's enjoyable to talk with, didn't object to my being present during the install, and I'm very comfortable recommending his services to anyone looking for a water treatment system."

"Kevan (spelled with an "a") was the only plumber who even called me back the day after Christmas. All these other companies that advertise 24/7 & Holidays emergency service did not even answer the phone. We lost power and our pipes froze in super cold weather we had Christmas 2022. In 32 years my pipes never froze but they did this time and they burst in multiple locations. Kevin called and came out the same day and worked into the night replacing multiple ruptures. "I have owned my house for a year and have had several technicians in to inspect my hot water heater, furnace and air conditioner. None of these professionals noticed or mentioned several serious problems with our plumbing and heating equipment. A couple of these problems could have resulted in a catastrophic flood of the entire basement within hours. Jarred Fay of F & F came in and explained all of the issues very clearly and installed a new water heater (a very expensive gas power vented type) and fixed all of the shoddy work that had previously been done at the house. His prices were several hundred dollars lower than the large company that I have a service contract with quoted me. Jarred's work was beautifully done - you can immediately see the improved quality of products and installation. Jarred also fixed several smaller plumbing issues that had been bothering us since we bought the house and installed some safety valves and sensors that can avert flooding disasters and alert you if you have a leak.
