I also have to say that I had had several estimates done the year before and their cost was right in the middle or on less expensive end of all the estimates - not so cheap that you wondered about the quality of the work that would be done or the quality of the softner that would be installed, but not so expensive that you thought you were getting taken advantage of.  The price was exactly right where I was hoping it would be.

We called Demaree's and the owner explained how we could fix the problem ourselves so they wouldn't have to come out and charge us a service charge. His company did an excellent job and I was so pleased that he was able to get there same day!  When your water heater goes out, it's an emergency (especially when you have kids), so it's very nice to have a contractor out there that appreciates that urgency and does all he can to help you out. He removed the old hose and setup and replaced everything with all-new parts. He drilled a new hole in the floor so that the hose would be lined up right.
