HomeAdvisor Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
As of September 6, 2018 the HomeAdvisor Rewards Program has ended. Customers who have completed and reviewed a project within the last 12 months may continue to earn and claim their Reward until October 31, 2018. All projects and reviews submitted after that date will be ineligible for a reward.
The following terms and conditions form the basis of the HomeAdvisor Rewards Program (the "Rewards Program"). Your participation in the Rewards Program will be governed by these terms and conditions, and it is your responsibility to read and understand them.Membership
Participation in the Rewards Program and the benefits of the Program are offered at the sole discretion of HomeAdvisor. Eligible customers (as described below) will be automatically enrolled upon submitting a qualifying service request. Upon enrolling, you will be able to accumulate Rewards Credits in your Rewards Account, as described below.
Eligibility
The Rewards Program is offered to individuals: (a) over 18 years of age; and (b) who have a valid HomeAdvisor account. Employees of HomeAdvisor, Inc., Felix Calls, LLC, CraftJack, Inc., and mHelpDesk, Inc. are not eligible for participation in the Rewards Program. (Only U.S. Residents are eligible to participate in HomeAdvisor Rewards.)
How the Rewards Program Works

Members will earn one project credit for completing the following steps:
- You will be automatically enrolled in HomeAdvisor Rewards when you submit an Eligible Project (defined in section #2 below) request through HomeAdvisor's ProFinder or Instant Booking services (only service requests matched by HomeAdvisor are eligible – projects where a consumer selects pros from the HomeAdvisor directory are not eligible projects). (Only U.S. Residents are eligible to participate in HomeAdvisor Rewards.)
- In order for a project to be eligible for a Reward:
- Homeowners must hire a HomeAdvisor Member Service Professional ("HA Pro") using HomeAdvisor's ProFinder or Instant Booking services (only service requests matched by HomeAdvisor are eligible. For example: projects where a consumer selects pros from the HomeAdvisor directory are not eligible projects) ("Eligible Project(s)").
- To verify that the work was completed, homeowners must submit a review of the HA Pro's completed work (the "Verified Job") on HomeAdvisor.com. (HomeAdvisor will request reviews for eligible projects via email)
- HomeAdvisor reserves the right to verify with the HA Pro that the HA Pro completed the verified job.
- Project requests must be submitted on or after January 6, 2017*
- Only reviews in approved or declined states will be reviewed for eligibility.
- After you earn 3 project credits you may claim your reward in your Rewards Account.
Rules Concerning Rewards Credits
- Rewards Credits can only be accrued after your official enrollment in the Rewards Program. Rewards Credits will not be awarded retroactively.
- You must provide a valid mailing address in order to receive your Reward check.
- You may earn up to two (2) Rewards checks (i.e. 6 Rewards Credits) within the twelve (12) month period following the date of your enrollment in the Rewards Program. Excess Rewards Credits beyond 6 will not be deposited in your Rewards Account. You may start earning additional credits on the anniversary date of your enrollment in the Rewards Program.
- Any accumulated credits in your Rewards Account will expire after 12 months without activity on HomeAdvisor.com. Activity is defined as submission of a ProFinder or Instant Booking Service Request or a Rewards credit being earned. If a member has earned 3 credits but has not claimed a reward within 12 months of the last activity, as previously defined, the credits will expire and the reward may no longer be claimed.
- Expiring credits will not affect pending Rewards check mailings (i.e. if a Member already claimed a reward and has a Rewards check pending it will still be mailed).
- You will not receive any Rewards Credits if a service request is canceled or if we cannot verify that the Pro completed the job. HomeAdvisor will not award Rewards Credits if you are unable, for any reason, to match with or review a HomeAdvisor Pro.
- Submitted reviews do not need to be approved or published to count towards the Rewards Program.
- Rewards Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between Member accounts.
- Rewards Credits earned in different HomeAdvisor accounts cannot be combined to redeem any award.
- There may be other limited time promotions when HomeAdvisor offers Rewards Credits on featured products and/or services.
General Terms and Conditions
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, HomeAdvisor reserves the right to terminate the Rewards Program, or to change these Terms and Conditions, regulations, or benefits of participation, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice, even though changes may affect the number of Rewards Credits already accumulated. HomeAdvisor may also withdraw, limit, modify or cancel the number of Rewards Credits required for reward redemption or change the number or type of reward offered. HomeAdvisor will have final decision should any disputes over Rewards Credits or the awarding of Rewards Credits arise.
- HomeAdvisor reserves the right to terminate a Member's participation in the Rewards Program and cancel accrued Rewards Credits if HomeAdvisor believes, in its sole discretion, that the Member is abusing the Rewards Program, or is misrepresenting any information furnished to HomeAdvisor. Terminated Members shall not be eligible to participate in any aspect of the Rewards Program, and Members whose accounts have been terminated shall not be eligible to enroll with new accounts.
- You are solely responsible for any tax liability related to participation in the Rewards Program or receipt of Rewards Program redemptions.
- Any requests for a replacement Reward check, in the event the initial Reward check is not received, may not be made sooner than 30 days following the date of the initial check, nor later than 180 days following the date of the initial check.
- Accrued Rewards Credits do not constitute property of the Member and are not transferable other than as authorized and/or sponsored by HomeAdvisor.
- Inquiries regarding the Rewards Credits assigned to a service request must be submitted by phone at (866) 431-7465 within 30 days after the review submission date in order to be considered for review by HomeAdvisor.
- By participating in the Rewards Program, you authorize HomeAdvisor, to the full extent permitted by applicable law, to collect, maintain, use and share your information, including, without limitation, names, addresses, account, and other information in accordance with the HomeAdvisor Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how HomeAdvisor collects, maintains, uses and shares your information at http://www.HomeAdvisor.com/rfs/aboutus/privacyPolicy.jsp. The HomeAdvisor Privacy Policy is merely a statement of administrative protocol; it is not a contract, nor does it create any contractual or legal rights.
- THIS REWARDS PROGRAM AND ALL REWARDS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" BASIS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY, GUARANTEE, OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- HomeAdvisor is not responsible or liable for: (a) incomplete or incorrect information, garbled transmissions, and telecommunications failures or service interruptions; (b) a user's use of the website, Credits, or Rewards; (c) for typographical, printing, or other errors in the offer or administration of the Rewards Program; (d) errors, irregularities, or failures in: (i) awarding, accumulating, receiving, redeeming, or using Credits; (ii) advertising; or (iii) accessing the Rewards Program; (e) mistakes in or changes to the Terms & Conditions, the selection, notification, or announcement of the Credits or the distribution of rewards checks; or (f) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Rewards Program, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Rewards Program. HomeAdvisor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft of or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Credits or Point accruing activities. HomeAdvisor is not responsible for any problems, failures, or technical malfunction of any online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, hardware/software, players, or browsers, failure of email or Credits or Point accruing activities due to or resulting from technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to users or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading materials from the Rewards Program.
- Any disputes relating to the Rewards Program shall be resolved individually without any resort to any form of class action, and any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred. Under no circumstances shall any participant be permitted to obtain awards for other damages or have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY PROHIBIT OR LIMIT EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE FOREGOING LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado as such laws are applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely in the State of Colorado and between Colorado residents. You agree to submit to jurisdiction in Colorado and that any claim arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions will be brought solely in a court in Denver County, Colorado.
