Excellent work boxing of the twenty foot deck beam. The carpenter forgot to fill in the gaps between the deteriorated top portions of the beam and the edge of the boxing with wood putty. This, I did myself. The following day after the work was completed I inspected the deck and found that the 2x10 joist cross supports of Douglas Fir split across it lengths. I had to repair them with wood putty. Beautiful work in boxing the beam, it was the small details that he forgot.

They did a beautiful job on my antique nesting end tables, and are working on the next phase of refrbshing my other antiques. They are also going to create some shadow boxes and repair some more modern furniture for me.

Jack who is the " Extraordinaire " owner and woodworker is absolutely the best contractor I have ever done business with. He is super organized, extremely skilled , and completely honest. We had a major project of rotted window frame and support structures removed and replaced by Jack. He is always on time, communicates perfectly and articulate in his work. You will not find a better person to fulfill your carpentry and wood working needs.

Since there isn't 10 stars I will have to settle for 5. Jack is a true craftsman. 5 minutes into the job-you can see his capability. He replaced an exterior door for me and the job needed extra pieces that I wasn't aware that I needed. He went-got them ripped them and installed what was needed to finish the job. At a time when an excellent work ethic is all but gone Jack Abrams stands alone in quality, capability and experience. HIGHLY recommended!!

Jack is a true craftsman. I hired Jack to make custom cabinets for our bathroom remodel. I wanted the vanity to match the unique design of our other cabinets. Jack was able to match the design perfectly -- down to the specialized tilt-out doors. Jack is fair in his pricing and accommodates changes with ease and flexibility. Jack also did the tile work in our bathroom with the same precision as his woodwork. Jack did my work on a handshake and his service to "top-notch."

I can't recommend Jack Abrams and Extraordinaire Woodworks high enough. A true professional, Jack is exceptionally detailed in his planning, clever and tasteful in his ideas, and meticulous and resourceful in execution. I originally hired him to build a couple of cabinets for a remodeled den. He recycled all the wood from the old wall cabinets, transforming them into beautiful "rustic chic" furniture. From that point, the scope of work expanded exponentially: custom-built desks and entry doors, an entire pantry re-do, extensive paneling in the great room and a bedroom, new window sills throughout the house, and much, much more--there's just no carpenter job that he can't do exceptionally well. Throughout, he has been a highly experienced partner in remodeling and an easy, reliable, trustworthy person to work with. Truly, he has been a godsend in terms of my efforts to transform this older home.

Not only is he a great craftsman and a great artist in wood, but he always shows up on time.
