"I did a lot of research on plumbers and out of the half dozen plumbing companies with the best overall ratings TX Quality Plumbing not only the highest rating, but they were the least expensive as well.  They showed up on time and immediately got to work.  It took them about 5 hours to complete the job.  The guys were very professional and friendly.  After they inspected everything the head plumber told me that he was concerned about my pipes (galvanized and over 40 years old) and that they will eventually need to be replaced.  He was especially concerned with the piping that comes out of the water heater and if nothing else I should replace those for now.  I agreed and they came back out the next day and replaced the pipes.  So for replacing my 50 gal water heater, replacing two pipe, several feet each, running a new drain line from the attic to the outside cost me $1,600.  Even with the extra unexpected cost they still beat everyone else's price for just the water heater replacement.  They also gave me a ballpark estimation on how much it would cost me to replace all my pipes based on 3 1/2 bath house and the price they quoted me was so much less then what I was expecting based on other peoples horror stories.  I will be using them for that big job as well!!

"The work performed as requested was very good. The plumber was late for our scheduled appointment. While at my house another water issue was discovered outside. It was fortunate that they did not have to dig very far and were able to repair the leaky pipe. I was so happy it was discovered. After the plumber left we discovered that the faucet where the outside pipe was repaired was leaking. They were called back and came the next day. The repair job was really nice but I was informed it would cost me another $149. The initial repairs were quite costly. We discussed that the faucet was not leaking before the outside pipe was repaired and the faucet started leaking after they left. The plumber then said he would not charge me for the additional repair. The work was very good but I was concerned that I was going to be charged again."
