"Called the original installers from 12 years ago but they weren’t very responsive. Ray Page responded with same day service and worked with my schedule. They sent text alerts with picture of Scott. Scott has been to my house before to fix Kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. Very professional and nice. This time, he did the big job, replaced the water heater and cleaned up as well. Very reliable service."

"They arrived at the estimated time and had the toilet running in 30 minutes. They also needed to leave to pick up a valve to replace the existing one, but came back the same night to finish it."

"The plumber Joey was a delight. He arrived exactly on time. Pleasant houseguest, cleaned beyond the call of duty, fun conversationalist, and the work (bathroom faucet replacement) was done well, in about an hour. I also appreciated Bob on the phone scheduling the appointment. He called within a minute of my submitting a request for quotes online. Only one other company responded, and rather than give me an answer (like, when, and $how much) there was this rigmarole about getting an estimate out to me tomorrow, and charging extra for any quarter hour past the first hour, and... Very unfriendly. In contrast, Bob at TMS was perfectly friendly and quoted me what I needed to know right then and there."

"Woke up to a flash flood in my basement that never floods. Technician got to my place within an hour of calling and had a new sump pump installed by early afternoon and the water drained out. It was stressful - the water was coming up fast and they dealt with it quickly. The lead technician was professional and courteous."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Amston, CT

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
