"I had gotten 4 estimates. Among them DAV was the only company to suggest I contact my insurance company as they believed there was sufficient hail damage. While the process of making a claim took longer, I was surprised when I received a check for the cost of replacement less my deductible. The other estimates were in line with the replacement cost. DAV also recommended an eave-level venting system that did increase the cost by approximately $500."

"I had problems in our back yard with water pooling during heavy rainfall and was concerned about possible flooding of our house and garage.  We have a pool and concrete patio, so I knew this was not going to be an easy fix.

Rob came out and spent about 2 hours looking over our situation and talking about options.  After he left, he came up with a single plan with components so we could proceed one step at a time, then wait and evaluate the success of that step or do a number of steps at once. 

Since we we were very concerned about the possibility of flooding, we elected to proceed with regrading, adding an exterior drainage line from the garage to the street, replacing an existing line from the house to the street, adding catch basins and re-grading areas around the house and garage.

The work was done at the days and times arranged; the crew was very considerate and professional and the work was beautiful.  

Most importantly, we have had several very heavy rainfalls and the solutions we had implemented by Works By Rob are performing as well as we had hoped.   We had no accumulation of water and no worries!"

"Excellent work done by Jose and his crew.  Work is very professional and looks fantastic.  Jose was also very polite and accommodating to us as we made several changes to the original plans while the work was being done.  Communication was a tiny bit difficult at times, but Jose always made sure that the work discussed, was the work being done.  His excellent customer service even extended to after the work had been completed.  There was an issue with a door and one of the drains, and Jose came back twice after the work had been completed to correct the issues.  The latter issue was discovered to be unrelated to the work Jose had done, but he tried to fix it anyway.  That's excellent customer service that I do not experience that frequently anymore. Jose's price was for the work was also the most competitive.  We would definitely use his services again and plan on it in the near future.  I would highly recommend them!!

"They did a great job! My mailbox had been vandalized; I found it lying in the road. I very creatively duct taped it back together, but the subdivision was not impressed and insisted on a replacement. I found Y &D on Angie's list and called them. I detailed the materials I needed. We set a time & they arrived with materials needed, including new post, new box, etc. They installed the post in concrete. The new mailbox is very stable, well constructed, perfectly lined up, and the most elegant on this block. I will hire them for more work later in the summer. Their charge at the end of work was the same as their quote at the beginning."
