"We had Doug and his crew re-grout cracks in our shower and they were phenomenal. We had Doug come for an estimate and he was very knowledgeable and thorough. He even researched the brand of our old grout that was used (previous owners) so he was familiar with the suite of products and purchased additional products (colorant and sealant) for us to use after they re-grouted. The new grout and caulk look great and he walked us through the application of the additional products and even offered to assist with any questions as we used them. Doug worked with us to make the project cost effective and was in continuos communication with us regarding the project between the time of the estimate until after the project was complete. "Artistic was a great group of people to have working on my house, professional, fast, and fun to have around. The job was to reno the kitchen, pretty sure was older than me. So, everything had to be replaced. This wasn't an easy job, came with complications. They had great ideas to solve them. I had a few custom things I wanted, and they had no issues working with me. The results are better than expected, my kitchen was transformed from an unfunctional dungeon into a wonderful place to spend time, even if not making a meal. It is now my favorite place in the house."

"Three walls of unfinished basement had three cracks and numerous leaks from rusting tie rods (my 20 years of ignoring!).  The drainage line from house sump pump thru back yard to water drainage line had failed.  They replaced line, but took a different route thru basement to a new connection to city's line, having not been able to find original connection--works fine now with their new sump pump.  The water leaks required manual excavation down to basement's exterior drain tile which required pressure clean out of the tile on three sides of house, then exterior sealing of four basement wall sections and building four window wells, small stone drainage sites around house.  About a dozen interior, rusting tie rod leaks were sealed.  It has just passed the worst flooding in the area's past in August 2014 without a leak!  The sump pump system performed.  As a smaller company, it was helpful that I was home to review work, answer questions, approve changes and additions, and get the pizza for lunches (a hard working bunch in August heat).  They needed additional direction in sod replacement from sump line cuts and you need to walk the job with a supervisor when completed.  They did additional work at no cost recutting and replacing an expanded area of patio pavers.  The owner was always reachable by phone and responsive for scheduling and visiting the site.  Troy was onsite for tapping into their drainage line.  An additional wood bracing along basement wall-ceiling interface proved useful for rehanging peg boards, etc., once I painted the walls ($500).

He removed all old glass doors and installed the new custom sliding doors to fit perfectly and finished my new beautiful doors with trim. He had amazing craftsmanship, was very punctual, trustworthy, and very fair in price. "We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"

"All the work performed for the coupon was done very well. Doug is a good worker and was quick as well as professional. I did try to book additional work with Terry, the owner, but he did not get back to me with a quote to remove and rebuild two decks along with a landing and 14 stairs. I called him several times, emailed, and texted, but he said he was waiting for quotes from places like Home Depot and Lowe's I believe. Finally we went with another contractor who was able to give us a quote within a day, and completed the work over the next week and a half. By the time Terry contacted me again, four weeks later, our deck was done. Terry said he had an emergency in Florida and was unable to contact us during that time. Having been in customer service for years, it seems to me if you had an emergency, you'd give your open items to someone in your company so that they could call all the customers and explain what happened instead of making them wait in limbo, stupidly thinking you are interested in doing their little project. I notice in an earlier post a few months ago, Terry had another emergency in Florida and did not return phone calls for quite awhile. Before this all happened, Terry was the one we wanted to go with for our decks, but he made it impossible to do so. Even Doug, the worker, asked if I had gotten a quote yet...turns out Doug would have been one of the ones building our deck so he was looking forward to the work.
