"Found True Blue from Angi and so glad I did. I can only give a rating of 5 but it should be more at least 10. Had a septic problem needing a new leach line, Tyler and family were very responsive and efficient, Darn Good People. Would use them again and would refer them often. Although their home is Pagosa please do not get discouraged as it works out GREAT!!!!Thank you for your service / enjoyed it."

"I was searching Home Warranty providers after a bad experience with my 7 year, soon to be terminated "former" Fidelity Home Warranty service provider. Warranty service providers are essential, for they step in and "act" when life deals you an "Oh Crap" situation like your refrigerator suddenly quits. Every high dollar appliance in a home has a life span that will end whether your prepared for it or not. It's a common occurance that leads to unexpected higher debt concerns while you frantically attempt to save your food from going bad. Got a minimum of $1,700 to get a new one? A truck or a really good friend to borrow theirs to pick it up? Plus time to allow it to achieve proper temperature to transfer your temp sensitive food! Well if you haven't experienced this type of event, in your life, you will! I began by doing some easy research online like searching for best Home Warranty providers. I put some inquiries out to prospective providers and as expected, the sales calls began to ring on my phone. They all have why "they" are the best provider - so take notes and compare policies. Ask whether they cover swimming pools, septic systems, roof repairs etc. So my phone rings with an out-of-state area code and it's Zach from Choice Home Warranty. While on the call, this enthusiastic salesman hit all the "trigger" items I was looking for; *Annual Service Price *Price per claim deductable *Response time You know, all the "need to know" info that helps you make an informative decision. I started paying $550/year 7 years ago in 2014 with my old service provider. The per claim fee was $65. Today in 2022, it's $710/year and $85/claim. Was it worth it you ask? If I figure the math, my total cost over 7 years and only 4 claims was $4,450 or $636/year. This cost paid to replace my pools salt cell and chlorine generator ($1,800 in parts alone), 2 separate Air Conditioner repairs which replaced the coil fan motor, a circuit board replacement, system coil cleansing, relays and a capacitor. (No idea of how much my total cost would have been. I paid $65 twice. Nice huh?) 1 roof repair that replaced the "Cricket", which is a 15' roof section elevational change just below the ridge line. It's important to remember that these repairs don't include "hidden costs" which are personnel and service labor rates. Something you will pay for without a Warranty Service. Here's the best part of the call from this AWESOME salesman. He offered me 6 year "fully transferable", rate locked for life" service policy that when divided out by 6 is LESS THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING ANNUALLY, 7 YEARS AGO!!! So, is a Home Warranty plan a safe bet??? I have a 9 word answer for those without a Choice Home Warranty service plan. YOU BET YOUR DRIPPING SWEATY BUTT CRACK IT IS!!! Props to Zach, YOU DA MAN!!! FAQs for septic system repair projects in Antonito, CO

You should have your septic tank inspected at least once every one to three years. Regular inspections help catch minor issues before they become major problems, ensuring your system operates efficiently and extends its lifespan. You can also have your pro take care of routine septic system maintenance tasks at the same time as your inspection.

A septic tank must be inspected before buying a home to ensure the system is sound and compliant with local regulations. A comprehensive inspection evaluates all critical components and detects hidden faults that could lead to expensive repairs. This detailed review protects your investment by verifying the system’s integrity and reliability.

A septic tank's leach field fails when it encounters system overload and deteriorating conditions. Excess water usage beyond the field’s capacity and environmental stress lead to hydraulic failure. Aging infrastructure and insufficient maintenance further contribute to failure. Distributing water use evenly and scheduling regular maintenance, including enzyme treatments when necessary, preserve the leach field’s integrity.

A septic system lasts between 20 and 30 years. Steel tanks function for 15 to 20 years, concrete tanks operate for 20 to 40 years, and fiberglass or plastic tanks remain durable for 30 to 40 years. Consistent maintenance, including regular pumping and inspections, extends these lifespans by preventing buildup and structural damage, ensuring reliable long-term performance.

A failing septic system presents clear signs such as slow-draining fixtures, foul odors at or around the leach field, and overly green patches of grass. Additional indicators include persistent toilet flushing problems, standing water near the system, and noticeable gurgling noises from pipes. These symptoms reveal blockages, structural damage, or leaks. Immediate professional evaluation is essential to address these issues and prevent extensive repair costs.
