"Anthony Restoration (AR) is rated F by Better Business Bureau (BBB). I wish I knew that before I hired them. Had leaking behind the wall. Brian Vent told me that they can do the water damage cleanup. Asked the cost, he walked away from the Ring camera and told me that it cost $7k. Per Brian, I signed the auth form he provided, and later found it did not mention $7k. A week later, the house was so dry it was hard to breath. Brian refused to stop and charged for 2 weeks. We had to sign another form for them to quit. A few weeks later, we received an email with an attachment for the invoice of close to $20k with more than 100 line items from AR. I found a lot of questionable charges and asked to speak with their billing person. They wanted to charge us $150/hour fee. Insurance paid a little over $10k for his portion. I sent AR a payment with the exact amount the insurance paid for his portion. They said do not accept that payment."

We were never given or approved a total cost, and the amounts claimed have changed repeatedly and remain impossible to reconcile. Our initial contact, Brian, was responsive until work began, then stopped responding entirely. Communication was redirected to Ellie, who could not answer basic questions about invoices, insurance, or the work performed, and often provided information that was later contradicted. We paid $5,000 upfront after being told this represented our insurance deductib"
