"I highly recommend Comfort Central. Owner Kevin Schumann and his co-workers, Jay and Thomas, did an outstanding job installing the new HVAC system at our house. Over a four-day period, they set up in our crawl space a furnace/AC unit, a new plenum box, pipes for venting, and a dehumidifier with its own elaborate duct and water-removal system that will help keep our huge crawl space dry. They also put in a new heat pump in the backyard and a thermostat in the house. I was so impressed by the people and the work they did. Kevin and Jay are remarkably knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to HVAC issues. Thomas did a very good job with the aspects of the project that he handled. Every installation presents its own challenges, and one of the best things about Kevin and Jay is their ability to improvise as the project moves along. They considered different options when deciding on the size of the new system, where vents should go, how the duct system should be repaired and improved, the placement and venting of the dehumidifier, and many other things. They always kept the code requirements in mind. They were on time, friendly, communicative, and always considerate about how their work affected us while we were in the house. Kevin, Jay, and Thomas were also terrific when it came to answering my many questions. Kevin’s wife Laurie, who manages the office, responded quickly to my e-mails and helped with scheduling. HVAC projects can be expensive and complicated, and we wanted the right company to handle ours. We learned about Comfort Central from our home health specialist who had worked with Kevin in the past and had received very positive comments about his team from customers. "Tim is the best service technician! He was out today today for a maintenance and service call. He is very experienced and clearly explained what was needed and to recap at the end of the visit! I first started working Sheer Comfort in 2023 when they installed a new AC & Gas furnace for my home. I obtained 5 quotes from highly rated companies before deciding which company to engage. I worked with Travis Shearer (owner) on deciding which options were best for my home and I was impressed with his knowledge, fair pricing and ease to work with. "Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Mike's quoted 3 systems; the multi-zone Mitsubishi hyper-heat system was about twice the cost of the Trane single-zone std. heatpump. The quote from a 2nd HVAC installer for a standard Carrier single-zone heatpump system was only $1000 less than Mike's Mitsubishi system. I wasn't originally considering the Mitsubishi because of the cost but the Carrier-system quote changed my mind. It took two days to complete. The installers were efficient, professional and amiable. They did a good job and took the time they needed to install the equipment correctly and make it look good. The condensor unit was delivered to Mike's with a dent; they gave me the option of a price break or getting another unit shipped next-day. The Mitsubishi system they installed operates much differently from the 13 year old standard-heatpump-system it replaces; before they left, the technician took the time to explain what to expect regarding the system's operation and encouraged me to contact Mike's if I had any questions or concerns."

"A house we'd recently bought had a serious sediment problem within the water lines.  I bought a self flushing whole house sediment filter and called All Ways Plumbing to install it.  They arrived on schedule and quickly began work.  They soon discovered (as I had suspected) that the well-water pressure tank was not holding pressure.  They installed a new one which I bought at the local building supply store.  While they were here, I also had them repair a toilet supply hose that was not working correctly.

"They completed the original job in 15 minutes or less, then responded to a request for an unscheduled electrical need to revamp a closet light switch.  After describing the alternatives, we arrived at a decision to install a motion sensor.  Since that required a trip to town, one man did that while the other one prepared for the installation.  When he arrived with the part, both men quickly made the adjustment and completed the job, making it look very clean and professional.  Although it took them about 1-1/2 hours to complete, including the trip to town, they charged for only 1 hour as there was plenty of time left from the original job.  My wife was very happy to finally have this change made to the closet light.  Both men were very professional, courteous and friendly, and kept the area clean as they worked as well as cleaning completely when done.  They even brought in a vacuum to make sure that they got all of the drywall dust cleaned up.  We would definitely hire Respro in the future for any electrical work."

"Mike and Crystal were very professional from the first phone contact through the completion of the work. They showed up on time, their work was neat and they worked very efficiently. My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. I have already recommended Mike's Painting to others in my neighborhood and would use him again for future painting needs.

"This was a Big Deal so the price was great. I delayed the start for my convenience but we were able to set a date with one phone call. He arrived on time and prepared to do the job as we discussed. I had to go out for a few hours and when I returned the job was done.  On one stair I had done a patch myself several years ago but the cement kept coming off. I was especially pleased with the way he integrated his patch with mine to make the stair look seamless. He called to ask if I was pleased with the work. I said I wished the wall patch had a straighter edge. He said he would come back to fix it after the first layer was dry. This made sense since the lost concrete section was too large to do in one layer."
