They were able to to resolve the problem by making some changes to the duct work and adding some different vents into the rooms (at an additional cost, but still affordable). 5 months later and the rooms are much better. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. He diagnosed the problem right away and contacted the water heater manufacturer to find out if we were still under warranty. We were, but the part had to be ordered, which took a couple days since the service call was on a Friday. Monday morning I heard back from them, the part was in, and they sent a tech to install it. It only took about 20 minutes to make the repair, and the hot water is up and running again. $225 seems a bit pricey for labor since the part was covered by warranty. But their work was great, quick; great punctuality, no complaints there.
