"they came out on monday to assess the window - give an estimate - since the qwindow was a double pane lowE / argon window with interior grids between glass , the gentelman informed me that it woul dbe a 5 day lead time to order and manufature the glass unit because it was special order - we did the necesary paper work , gave him a small deposit , and he measured the glas and got it ordered - well the 5 day turnaround actually only eneded up taking 4 days and he had the job done by friday - and it was super fast - he was in and out in 45 mins - start to finish - left my house very clean - washe dthe window - removed the old broken glass and went on his way - very professional , reliable, and curteous . very friendly - overall the job went great - and it was affordable - i have had them do work on my home in the past - replacing foggy glass , broken glass , replacing glass in my patio doors , ....i would defiantely use them and refer them to anyone else in need fo glass work - they have been around for 30+ years and i can see why - they left me very satidfied and happy with the jobs theyve done for me in my home

"I had recently bought a used car which had very a very cheap and distorted windshield previously installed. It was so bad I would get dizzy or get headaches while driving. I called around looking for different prices, and not only was Guardian Auto Glass the cheapest, they were the only company that had a kind, knowledgeable person answering the phones to give me information that I needed. 

I had called around to get quotes, and when I mentioned I had their coupon from Angie's List, they saved the quote under my name so if I could call around some more and come back to them if I wanted. A few weeks went by before I decided to go through with getting my windshield replaced, and they still had the quote saved under my name when I called which was very convenient so I could set up an appointment right away.

They set up my appointment for the next day, in which the mobile service was going to come to my house to do the installation. The employee was right on time, and it took him less than an hour to replace the windshield. The glass is crystal clear, no distortion or imperfections whatsoever. While he was installing the windshield, he was very professional and courteous, and answered all my questions with intelligence and honesty. 

I was very worried about having my windshield replaced, especially considering it had been replaced before with very cheap and dangerous glass, but Guardian Auto Glass exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely do business with them again if needed."

"Dan (owner) was great to work with. After sitting through to other sales presentations, I contacted Dan. Dan was extremely fair and honest and he went out of his way to ensure we were happy with the project. The installation crew was great too. They were very punctual, thorough and left the house clean. "Windows were good and in stalled was fine ,then business was sold and new owner was not responsive to a problem that arose with one window. A part broke and the new owner came out and said he would order the part. He set up an appointment for two weeks ahead at 12:00. He never showed. I called the guy 3 different times and he did not return calls. I called the past owner who got the pats for me but, I had to hire a third party to do the repair . The third party is on vacation and will do the work when he returns. The windows cost $2700.00. I expected better service then this. This is an update to my august review. After the previous review I received call from the owners assistant , she wanted to help correct the previous problem I had concerning a repair. The owner wanted to come out and correct the problem He came out ,got the parts that he needed and repaired the window . Any problem we had in the past has been corrected."

"My wife and I are licensed architects and very particular and demanding of our contractors. Bob explained the technology of his products and took the time to listen and understand the job. He was flexible and able to use the particular shingle we wanted which wasn't his preferred brand. We also replaced a flat roofed porch and, on the week of the job, we asked that he install a roll roofing material that closely matched the roof shingles' color. He quickly located that particular material which was not at his usual supplier. Most contractors would not have catered to their clients as he did. His workers showed up when they said and were neat and courteous. The flat roof took much longer than expected due to the difficulty of removing the railing, but they didn't charge more. The roofs look great and we are glad to have chosen Northeast Ohio Renovations."

"Danny Siders of Absolute Kitchens and Baths recently updated our kitchen and our master bath. In the kitchen he installed new Wilsonart High Definition laminate countertops, Nova laminate flooring, a tiled backsplash behind the stove, a new Blanco sink, a new Delta faucet, and new drawer pulls. In the bathroom, he raised the cabinets to a better height, installed new Wilsonart High Definition laminate countertops, new sinks, and tiled the floor and the surround of the garden tub. Under the tile floor, he installed a radiant heater. Several years ago, he redid our shower. He was able to find the same tiles he used in that job so that the bathroom tiles all match. This was a large job and we are very happy with how it looks and of our experience with Danny. Over the last 5 years, Danny has renovated 2 other baths and the sink in the laundry room. We have always been extremely happy with the work he has done. The things I appreciate when working with Danny are the ideas he adds to the projects, the craftsmanship he puts into the project, his finishing touches, and his helpfulness. Danny showed up for the initial consult with books of materials and ideas. He listened to what we wanted and then pulled on his experience to help us decide on the best materials for the job. He was aware of new materials and new techniques. We told him our goals and he helped us choose the best materials for the project. He did not push his ideas but helped us clarify ours. Once the project started, he arrived daily at the same time or told us ahead if he would not be there. He cleaned up at the end of the day and caused minimal interruptions to life outside the work area. He is meticulous in his prep work for the project as well as the actual installation. Seams match, edges of tiles are bullnosed where needed, and colors and stains match what was already in the house. One of the most impressive finishing touches was the kick plates under the cabinets and the edgings of the new floor. He used wood edgings that he stained to match the counters and the existing edges of the floor. It gives the new floor a seamless look with the rest of the house. I appreciate Danny’s reliability, craftsmanship, and his attention to finishing details. Danny was also helpful and persistent when we increased the scope of the project and added some additional flooring. The Nova flooring has become increasingly difficult to obtain and when we wanted the small bathroom also refloored, he needed to order more. It was a challenge finding a source for the flooring and then the first shipment came in wrong. Danny worked through all the hassles necessary to get the floor we wanted. He also fixed sticky drawers and a poorly designed waste basket drawer. Not only does our kitchen look wonderful, but the drawers finally all work as they should. At the very end, two of the flooring boards in the small bathroom slipped. Danny readily came back to fix them for no charge. Thank you, Danny, for your perseverance in getting materials and fixing problems along the way. I also appreciate that Danny will call me back and accepts my decisions without recourse to my husband. I have dealt with other contractors who always wanted my husband to concur or only called back when my husband called. Needless to say, I only worked with them one time. Danny Siders has done beautiful work on our renovations. We are very happy with the outcome and with the ease of working with Danny. "Had Stanek windows and patio door installed approx. 15 years ago. Patio door was getting a little difficult to slide open and close. Called Stanek, they sent technician, Cory, out and within 30 minutes he had door operating good as new. Our Stanek windows are great and good as new."

"Danny Stephens, owner, D Stephens Construction LLC, did extensive repair and replacement work in our bathroom, including installing a new ceramic tile floor, and a new toilet.  Additionally, he repaired the floor and one wall in the bathroom.  The work was done over the course of several days.  I found Danny very agreeable, and willing to do all the work required.  He was responsive, also.  He returned right away (on a Sunday, no less) when I called him to correct a minor issue I discovered after all the work had been completed.  Most contractors won't do that, once they've been paid."

"This job was trouble from day one.  It was done about a year ago, and I don't know where to begin. I'll just name a few of the things that happened. Our old shower was removed, but not before creating several holes in the sheetrock on the adjoining walls and even in the bottom of the closet in the room next door. They were repaired, except the one in the closet. The wrong tile color was brought, but turned out okay because we liked the contrast. We were supposed to have a built-In shelf, but that was forgotten, and wound up with two soap shelves, placed higher than I would have liked. When the wall tiles were put on, they were all out of align and needed to be taken out and put back in again. 
 
We removed the cabinets and countertop and were going to put them back in place after the floor was completed, but they insisted on putting it back in place and to put the $800 countertop with sinks in place so they could finish the accent tile.  The cabinets were not level, and the center drawer was installed upside down.  The countertop was scratched, which they denied doing.  I think the job took over a week to do, after we were told it would probably be only 3-4 days.  The worker was very sloppy with glue, grout and tile cutting in the garage, and left debris. 
I'm sure I am missing something, but it was a while ago.  I was out of state due to my sister's passing and was not around to stay on top of it as much as I would have liked.  By the time some of these items were discovered, I was mourning her passing and just wanted them out of my house and my bathroom useable again.  My husband made them aware of most items, and some were taken care of, and I think that's why it took so long. 
No, I would not hire them again or recommend them to a friend.  BOB - Beware of Bargains.
