"Basset Heating and Air Conditioning offers a great plan where the customer pays a reduced set price once a year to have their air conditioner tuned up in the spring and their furnace tuned up in the fall. Additionally, under the plan the customer recieves significant discounts should his or her air conditioner or furnace need emergency repair any time during the year. As usual, the Basset Heating and Air Conditioning front office called me to set up an appointment for my spring tune up. Mike called 30 minutes prior to arriving to assure me that he would be on time plus or minus a couple of minutes. The entire tune up took approximately 30 minutes. After the tune up was complete, Mike sat down with me and explained that my air conditioner was now 13 years old with a life expectancy of 15 to 20 years. He also explained that the EPA was phasing out the older air conditioners and that if leaks were to occur in my unit, the replacement freon was getting more and more expensive each year. He told me the approximate price of a new air conditioning unit and compared it to the price of continually replacing the freon in my older model. This was very good to know. Should leaks now occur over the next couple of years, I will definitely buy a new unit rather than throw away good money after bad. A very professional job from a very experienced, professional man.

They had cloths on my floors, as they were in and out of my crawl space. They even left to get a particular component, specific for my install. No damage to home. There was no laughing or joking around. They were concentrated on install, measuring, calculating out loud between the three of them. No cussing or profanity, either. Julian was professional and explained everything to me, including why manual was left on unit, so when inspector came, it was there, as it couldn't be signed off without it. Thermostat looks great! He also knew a lot about furnaces, which is my next thing. *Beware of companies won't give you prices on ANYTHING and/or charge you estimate to come to your house... Another reason I picked PEAK HOME was their receptionists! Sweetest, most understanding ladies! If you need to install A/C, go with this company - definitely recommend!"

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "They arrived on time, and quickly solved and repaired both problems within 30 minutes. As jobs go, this one was very easy, but Justin (I think that was his name) made sure to FIX what was wrong, instead of telling me I had to have a more expensive service. We lucked out on this one, seeing as the house was built in 1984, it could very possibly have been needing a rewiring, or replacing the housing unit for the outside socket that was not working. A very efficient and friendly team!!! I loved their professionalism, and quality of work."
