I was actually away from home when the furnance stopped working.  I was in the hospital for several weeks and a friend was watching my home.  I had left a list of "Emergency telephone numbers" for her just in case something happened.  Provost Plumbing was on the list.  When she realized that there was no heat in the house, she called Provost.  They came immediately and made the needed repairs.
