"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. "Travis Grove contacted me less than a minute after I submitted a request. He came day-of on a Friday afternoon to inspect, and quickly found the capacitor had failed. He had a replacement on hand, though the issue was the fan as well. Travis made sure to keep me informed of parts availability (fan vendor closed on weekends), and text me updates. If his arrival time changed, he made sure to let me know. The new fan is more powerful, to provide better cooling. He noticed my refrigerant pressure was low as well, and made sure to fill it up. Travis was friendly and easy to talk to. His price was very reasonable, including all parts and multiple hours of labor over two days. My system is working well and cooling better than before. "I brought my car in for service because it was running rough. A few months before I had the power steering pump replaced and within about a month it began to make a noise. I figured it was due to low fluid but, the fluid level was fine.  ABS told me they would diagnose my car and give me a call and tell me what I needed to repair.  They called me about an hour later at work  and listed the repairs they recommended.  Their list included a new power steering pump.  I told them to not replace the pump, but to do all of the other repairs.   I picked my car up that evening and as I was driving away noticed that the power steering pump wasn't making any noise.  They didn't charge me for a new pump. So, when got home, I looked under the hood to make sure they hadn't replace the pump - they didn't.   It's been about six months and my car is still running well and the power steering pump isn't making any noise. They did something to the power steering pump - repaired it, without charging me. I am thankful that I found ABS - They are polite, professional and highly competent!

"The Estimator was very nice and responded quickly to setup the visit and schedule the work for an old DC home with galvanized piping. The 2 installers (one very nice - Chris) did good work and cleaned up well, but didn't communicate the issues that popped up! This was irritating. They left although there were leaks and sewage coming through the kitchen sink when you turned on the bathroom sink etc. The installers claimed someone was scheduled to come the next morning, but that wasn't true because of the communication issues. Also, they promised a plumber would show up on the same day as the stoppage, but they never showed up or called. They apologized the next day, but my elderly mom still couldn't use her bathroom on the 2nd floor and had to go down to the basement to use the restroom for 5 days. They even mentioned that I had to pay for snaking the pipes although we had no blockage until the installers finished their work. The Estimator got an installer/repair tech Chris Hardesty (2nd Chris in the company) to snake and remove the stoppage (for free how nice) and fix all of the remaining issues. He is a great tech!!! He is the reason I gave an overall rating of a B. He was an "A" but the other service averaged to a "B". Thanks Chris!!! If you don't have an older home, then you should be fine, but if you do good luck with finding out promptly."

"Continental's technicians were highly experienced, professional, considerate, respectful, hard working, and neat.  They arrived on-time when scheduled.  Allied's drilling and trenching crews were excellent also.  This was a big messy job that took about a week and we are very happy with the work that they did.  The owner of Continental, Frank Jackson, sold us the system.  He provided an extensive reference list that went back at least 15 years.  He was on-site for most of the job providing hands-on supervision of his technicians.  His technicians are so experienced that he didn't have to be there to supervise them.  Rather, I believe he was there to make sure that the job was finished on time because they are so busy.  Allied had an on-site supervisor at the start of the drilling process to finalize the location of the loop bores, but their drilling crew was highly experienced and needed no supervision.
Installing geothermal is a messy job.  The vertical bores and horizontal trenching for the ground loop makes a muddy mess.  The drillers from Allied were very respectful to the property, much more than I expected.  I expected that the drilling process would make "a mess and a half" but it only made a mess!  At the end of the job the ground was re-leveled and ready for seed, which has already popped and growing grass.  As one of the drillers said "the mess only takes grass seed to fix".
The HVAC technicians from Continental left the spaces where  they worked in "broom-clean" condition.  We had to do some "deep cleaning" afterwards, but this was completely reasonable.
We expressed our concerns about the job to the technicians before they started work because we do not know much about HVAC or geothermal.  They took the time to explain what they were going to do and how they were going to do it.  They kept us fully informed about their progress and included us in the decision making process when they had more than one way of running a pipe or duct.  They made us feel really comfortable and that we were getting a top-notch job.
While the cost for the system from Continental was a little bit higher than their competitors I think we got value for money.  In addition to the reference list we received during the sale process, we also know two families that used Continental in the recent past and they are very happy with the work that was performed.
We would use Continental again and would recommend them to others.
If you go with the option to integrate your hot water heater with the geothermal system (which is supposed to reduce the cost of the hot water that you use) I would reccommend that you bite the bullet and have a preheat tank installed at additional cost.  We didn't do that and in retrospect we should have based on some further reading that we did about how to get the most bang for the buck from geothermal.  It would be easy to install the preheat tank during a new construction project.  It would be harder to install the preheat tank during a replacement project (like ours was).

You won't find a better computer technician/computer builder than Jim Ferrell. I have been using his services for years and he has come to my rescue many times. Other companies on the Internet claim to provide computer repair service via Internet access, but many of them are scammers (I have fallen prey to that myself, and my computer crashed as a result) but Jim is honest and trustworthy, so know that you don't have to worry about him taking advantage of you in any way. He will even take the time to teach you how to avoid scammers and other malicious things like viruses, which most computer technicians won't do. I recently purchased his monthly maintenance services. Every month he checks out my computer via the Internet and scans for anything malicious and looks at the overall function, and now I can rest easier knowing that Jim is watching over my computer's health. In today's world, you may feel like there is no one you can trust with your computer, your data, your personal financial info, or even your identity, but Jim is one person that you can indeed trust.
