"I was met by the owner who gave me an immediate estimate.  Upon confirmation of insurance information the work was started immediately.  My truck was done on time with the materials as I specified and it looked great.  Everyone was very helpful and polite.  Now, nearly a year later, everything is still looking great.  Shortly after the repair, the taillight that was involved went out.  When I called, they said to bring it over right away.  It was just a matter of a burned out bulb and they replaced it immediately at no charge.  Fantastic service.  I highly recommend Goodrich Auto Works!"

"The service desk we spoke with, to determine if someone needed to come out, was very helpful and sent someone right away. Ryan B., the technician who performed the service, was excellent. He was courteous and professional, took time to explain what the issue was to us and how he was going to fix it, went out of his way lugging barrels of water out of our house to ensure we did not have any water issues in our basement and was clear about how our service contract covered the entire expense. I've had nothing but good experiences with Isaac heating & Air Conditioning and would highly recommend to others."

"Overall we are very pleased with the work that was done.  The first appointment was made for 2:00 in the afternoon, I had to leave work at 1:00 in order to be there on time, unfortunately I received a call at 2:30 letting me know they weren't going to be able to make it.  Rescheduled for the next day and was told they would be there between 8:30 and noon, received a call at 8:30 letting me know they were on their way.  They were able to replace the sink in the bathroom that I had purchased, unfortunately they had to also replace the pipes under the sink because they were corroding.  They showed me the pipes and explained everything.  The sink in the basement is an old cast iron sink and did not have any handles or faucets.  They were able to order the new faucets and install them within a few days.  They were very professional and I would definitely use them again. <br />"

"Very well,. The technicians were very polite, informative, and honest. I have used them 3 separate times now and have always been very pleased with the results. They know their business and they are very careful to make sure that I understand what they are going to do and what it will cost before they begin a repair. Next, they looked at the dryer and removed all of the lint, etc that was clogging the vents, further than I could reach. They also provide helpful tips to prevent the same problem from reoccurring (ie. don't wash small rugs in the washing machine - it was the rubberized backing that clogged the washing machine!). I will happily use them the next time that I need an appliance technician."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Bath, NY

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
