We used to have a baquacil chemical system for our poor and that was causing many algae issues as well as being very costly. Kevin recommended a salt system to chlorinate the pool using good old salt. The system paid for itself in 3-years and the natural salt is easy on the skin and eyes. "I initially went to Home Depot to buy bathroom exhaust fans and to utilize their contracting services to have them installed since 2 of my bathrooms never had a fan.  Interestingly, they don't have anyone that will do that and told me I would need to get a general contractor to install the venting.  I then searched Angie's List to find an electrician who was capable of doing this or getting someone to work with them to do the project.  I reached out to 3 local electricians and came up with Schultz Brothers Electric and called.  I scheduled an appointment with John Schultz who was prompt on arrival and very professional.  I explained what I needed and he indicated he would provide an estimate.  I had the estimate within a day or two and I thought his price was fair and that I could work with him to get the job done.  We arranged that I would get the fans and he would get the venting and we had a few back and forth texts to ensure we both were in sync.  John arrived promptly on 3/2/12 since I told him I was taking the day off.  He did some electrical switch upgrades in the powder room and evaluated how to approach the ceiling to install the fan and vent and informed me that the floor boards ran both ways.  We determined that the powder room was right below the Jacuzzi and the floor was reinforced.  I decided not to do it because it would be problematic.  John  then proceeded to replace the upstairs hall bathroom and vented to the eve of the house as I instructed, Thereafter, he installed a large fan with a 6" vent for the master bathroom and vented it to the ceiling of the attic through an already existing roof vent.  Overall, it took most of the day and was a great experience.  I would not hesitate to use John again or to recommend him to someone I know.  John, it was a pleasure working with you and I look forward to our next project."

"They were courteous and pleasant, they just weren’t able to do the work that we needed done. We need an electrician that is willing to send a letter to the town saying that there are no violations in the attic.  It was frustrating that we weren’t able to get the work done that we thought we had purchased.  They wanted to charge five hundred dollars to send the letter like we wanted.  We thought that should be covered by how they advertised that.  They were very, very professional.  We just couldn’t come to an agreement on what we wanted compared to what they could provide.  The whole experience was bad in terms of not getting what we needed, but I cannot say anything bad about how they acted or their professionalism.  It was a frustrating experience, and sometimes in such experiences the companies can be rude.  One call was never rude at all, even when we were trying to negotiate for the work.They were always perfectly professional."

The job went very well. The team of 2 were very professional and explained everything that they were going to do before starting the work. They estimated the complete effort would take 3 to 4 hours and that was what the job took.  Upon completion of the work, they re-ran tests with me so I could see that everything was performing as expected. They answered all my questions and were extremely patient and thorough. The devices that they provide e.g. the thermostat appear to be high-end and a bit pricey. But I am comparing their devices to the ones provided by my builder when the home was built in 2006 which may have been on the low-end of the scale. For example, the electronic media filters used by my developer are no longer being made.

This was my second time using Friendly Electric. Previously in June 2013, they replaced all of my original smoke  and CO2 detectors. That was a very successful work effort as well.
