"Tom did an incredible job. We had no heat and no hot water with freezing temperatures outside. We were told by other companies that the boiler was beyond repair and had quotes from $16,000-$21,000. When I told Tom I was told the boiler could not be repaired, he insisted on seeing it for his own evaluation. He came in on a weekend and fixed it for a completely reasonable and affordable price, saving us over $15,000! Best of all our heat and hot water are both back and the house is once again warm and toasty! We are saving his number and will hire him again without hesitation. "Technician ( Mike McCabe) was friendly, courteous , excellent & professional. The service was provided on the next day after I called. They kept me informed concerning their arrival. The price for the repair ( including a Senior Discount + A $50 OFF coupon ) still did seem a bit high for the amount of work done, but I am not sure what the going rates are. Please note that Gold Medal was the ONLY company to respond to my request. I have used them a number of times in the past and my remarks above were fairly in line with past services. Overall, was very satisfied with the service."
