"The job was done quickly efficiently and neatly in a 1903 house where leveling and a stiff floor was essential. Working on older houses can prove challenging. A previous contractor's job was so poor the tile had to be torn out and thrown away. The new installation looks like new construction, It is solid and level. Mr. Rodriguez was consistently polite and cooperative. He did preparation and cleanup work that was not required in the contract. He also made suggestions and did work that involved significant amounts of time and labor without asking for increased compensation. We have already asked him if he would undertake other projects with us."

"This is the first review I have ever submitted for a contractor. However, when a company offers this outstanding level of service they have more than earned a five star rating! After a severe windstorm damaged my roof, I called my insurance company and then researched / contacted several roofers in my area. As a result of so much damage most roofing companies were extremely busy. Walter Brown was the only one who had their staff working diligently to take calls, and somehow managed to fit me into their schedule even though they were inundated with emergency work. Two workers arrived as the rain started and tarped the damaged areas. Everyone at Walter Brown consistently replied to my emails and continued to stay in touch with me as we worked through the color selection and scheduling of replacing my roof. I researched brands of shingles before John Cisna came to my house to discuss the brand that they install. Finding out that they install the brand that I had found was the highest rated brand on the market confirmed that they had high standards both in the products they use as well as in the quality of work that they do. The crew who did the job was absolutely amazing, professional, courteous, and meticulous in making sure every detail of the roof was perfect. "Frank is definitely not your typical contractor. He actually calls you back, emails you when you send him a note and texts back when you just need a quick answer to something. He's proactive with the timeline and finishes the job on time. From the moment my husband and I sent AMS an email, we knew he was going to be great - then I met him, and instantly liked and trusted him. When we weren't sure what to do with layout, floor choices/finishing options, etc. he was on point with his advice and we're so glad we listened to him.
We initially thought we could handle the electric (there were NO lights in the ceiling), but after further examination, we last minute decided to use his electricians - they were there the next day. What's great is that for each step in the project, he had a lot of guys just bust the work out. Most things were done within a day or two, and the 2-3 week timeline for everything, start to finish was spot on. 
We can't wait to tackle the kitchen next and throw Frank as much business as we possibly can. "The refinishing of the floors went without a hitch. Our house has four sets of stairs that have 6 landings and all of the stairs were carpeted when the house was built. When Tony's team took up the carpet on the stairs we discovered that the builder had made the steps and risers of white wood but the landings were press board which would look terrible painted.  Tony and his team then had to install 6 small floors, one on each landing, before the painting could proceed.  Once the floors were installed the steps and railings were painted but in doing so we discovered that  the sides of the steps need repainting because of the carpet removal. Tony's team then returned to repaint the sides of the steps. Tony and his team members are professional and courteous and are very customer focused and as a result will do whatever is needed to make sure the customer is satisfied.

"I have a new home. It was finished a little over a year ago. The builder did a fine job and the kitchen was very nice for what I could afford at the time of construction. I love to cook and do so often for my family so after being settled in I decided to give myself a new gourmet kitchen with all the modern conveniences and bells and whistles. I called a few different contractors/designers and went through their designs and bids thoroughly. I decided to go with Ruxton Design and Build because their design was by far the best and it seemed I was getting more of those bells and whistles at a more reasonable cost. We began the process of selecting all my finishes back in November. I worked with their interior designer Michelle picking everything out, she made the process fun and exciting. The work began right after the Christmas holiday and finished two weeks ago. The work went smoothly and all the men arrived on time and ready to work every morning. They were there later than I expected some days in attempts to keep the schedule on track but I didn't mind because they were very pleasant and respectful. Frank was always available to answer any questions I had and came by often to check on progress. They exceeded my expectations and even did some extra's for me at no extra charge. I could not have asked for a more and would honestly recommend this company to anyone needed a new kitchen."

"Vince called me back within hours of my sending him a message through Angie's List.  Even though he does not list Montgomery County as one of his service areas, he was completely willing to help us out.  In my message, I had requested the work to be done onsite but Vince explained why having him pick up the generator and take it back to his shop to work on it would make more sense.  His charge for pick-up and delivery back to us was only $34.95.
When Vince came to pick up the generator, he was on time and was able to give me a ballpark cost for the work (which turned out to be very accurate).  He said that he could get it back to us in 3-4 days but I asked if he could do it faster as there was a snow storm predicted for the next day or so.  Vince agreed to a shorter time line and ultimately got the generator back to us within 1 day!  There ended up being no snow storm but we got our generator back in working condition - along with a booklet of care instructions, a copy of our invoice, and a service history form.  A few days later we received a hand-written Thank You card in appreciation of our business.  I can't imagine how the service could have been any better.  We will use Vince for any future small engine repairs/maintenance we have and highly recommend him and his services.
