I was so pleased I asked them to paint the soffits, etc. and I plan to use them again in the spring to repair some other items. I also referred them to several friends. Blaine Harvey came out to perform the estimate and he was thorough with his inspection and provided an estimate for the repair. I signed up immediately and the job was scheduled very quickly. Throughout the project they allocated sufficient time for each treatment to cure and inspected the work before proceeding to the next step. Grady started the project with no money down and only required ongoing payments for materials until the project was well underway. The final payment was due only after they did a final inspection. Total project cost was also below other bids."

"The initial conversations to set up appointment and those after with the staff went very smoothly.  The workmanship was excellent.  Jose and the other worker came in and did both windows in 4-5 hours.  I couldn't have been more pleased.  The price was within my budget, which of course made it even better.  I've wanted to replace the windows for years but could not because of other needed repairs in my home.  I chose this company based solely on the positive reviews and costs posted on Angie's List.   It has been one of the best decisions I ever made subscribing to Angie's List because I have made bad decisions in the past in selecting a company.   I am definitely planning on using American Jewel Window Systems next year for replacement of other windows in my home.

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Scheduling was a nightmare.  The first scheduled appointment was a 'no show' and when I called they indicated their was a mistake with a new person on the scheduling.  In attempting to reschedule, they had to work within the schedule that they would have a truck available in my area.  
We rescheduled and they called and cancelled due to a truck break-down.

The two guys they sent were professional and thorough but provided misinformation.  They took a picture of the flashing on my chimney and told me that they didn't touch it because of the rust but felt the entire cap needed to be replaced.  I checked into that and it was going to be almost $1,000.00 to install a new one.  I got a second and third opinion and the cap did not need replacing, it simply needed to be sealed and painted.  It cost me $50 to get the repair completed.
