"I was able to hire them last weeks of season to level the driveway and sidewalk and especially the entrance step and they were able to come and complete this work despite the lateness of the season; however, they were not able to complete the caulking job because of the turn in the weather. They will schedule this job in the spring. This is my second time working with them and they have done good work and reasonable prices."

"The man that came to our house was very nice and we felt as though he was not trying to sell us a basement system, but more-so a piece of mind. Also, he explained exactly where everything would be and how it would all work. Thanks, Roger!"

"I am extremely happy with Detroit Concrete Leveling for the job they did leveling my driveway and walkway, and caulking the cracks in my cement. The sales person, Lawrence, was very informative about building codes and what was involved in the process, and didn't talk down about any of his competitors like another company I received an estimate from did. The workers, Mike and Matt showed up at the scheduled time, worked hard all day, and did an excellent job leveling and repairing my broken concrete. I couldn't be happier with the job they did or the professionalism they showed in explaining everything in detail and working with me to get the concrete pitched away from the house the way I wanted. I found the price of $2500 for all the work they did, and the results they achieved, to be very reasonable. I would definitely hire them again if the need arises."

"The crew showed up right on time 8am and went straight to work. They were pleasant and friendly and let me know how soon I could walk on surface and drive on new surface. They finished up before 9am. Driveway looks fantastic and surrounding areas were free of debris. This is our second time with AR. I have gotten other quotes and found their pricing to be quite competitive. I recommended them for our neighborhood beach driveway resurfacing and I highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of services. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Bloomfield Hills, MI

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
