Not only did they put in a new furnace, but the ducting that was in here at the house was, like 30 years old so they tore it out and re-did it with custom ducting made out of these big sheets of metal. "We were doing some upgrades in our older house and I wanted to have central A/C and to remove the old baseboard heating system. I contacted a couple of the larger A/C contractors and they all came in around the same price while using different manufacturers and in some cases even different sized systems. I found an ad for Green Heating and called Dan who quickly scheduled a visit. I liked Dan from the start. He's down to earth and personable. His price was excellent, he was a couple thousand dollars cheaper than one of the other contractors while quoting almost the same equipment (one of the components that Dan used was a new version than the other guy quoted). When we were finally ready for the installation, Dan worked with me to schedule the installation and he did it in the time promised and in the time frame he quoted. I like the system and we were very comfortable in our home this summer, which was hot and this was the first summer that we've had whole house AC. In 9 months we have had 0 issues with the system. I whole heartedly recommend Dan and will use him when general system checks or any maintenance is needed."

The workers were professional, friendly, and thorough. The installation was the day after July 5th on the July 4th weekend and the company worked us in during a heat wave when we desperately needed air conditioning.
Because babies and the elderly are especially prone to heat related problems the owner of the company was sensitive to our needs.
His workers stayed until 11:30 pm finishing the job after starting early in the morning.
The workers patiently explained how to operate the system and cleaned up well after the job was done.

"Just wanted to thank Green Heating Cooling & Electric for coming out when they did. Our heater was not working on a day where the outside temperature was 34 degrees. Called several heating companies but they all couldn't come out until after noon. Then I was fortunate to call Green Heating Cooling & Electric and George told me they can come out in late morning. I agreed but asked if he could find a way to come earlier. He called me back minutes later to tell me they were able to fit us in within the next half hour. I was so thankful for their rescheduling efforts. Then when the servicemen came, they were very professional. Checked the system: water level, damper operation, gas switch, venting, etc. Along the way, they explained what to look for and found that the blocked vent switch triggered and had cut off gas to the heater. Soon, the heater was running again. All in all, great experience and was happy to have called Green Heating Cooling & Electric."
