It took awhile before he cleared out the clog in the line, making sure nothing leaked out onto our basement floor. "I'd been using the same firm for almost twenty years, the owner retired, and I've been having problems finding a new plumber who could perform to that standard. I'll keep this short and simple: they responded to my call almost immediately. The owner came by and gave me an estimate for the first job, a second job, and a repipe with PEX (much bigger job than I wanted to have done right now.). The estimate was a stunner, a fraction of what I had been quoted even several years ago. I told him to go for it, and his people started in, again, within a couple of days. "Contacted Mission PHC concerning a plumbing issue with the downstairs toilet. Got an appt two days later, on a Saturday, which was nice since it was the only time I was available. The tech called that morning and wanted to come 15 minutes early, which is also fine. He was a very nice man, spent some time asking questions and attempted to diagnose the problem. Concluded it might be an obstruction in the roof vent. We went on the roof and he augured it out, didn't find anything. So then he suspects the mainline, but informs me he can't do the main line, and their main line guy is off on Saturdays. That was rather disappointing. Thankfully I had a coupon for a free service call, so it ended up only costing $45. After the tech left, I called another company and they did an outstanding job, fixed my problem, and were reasonably priced. My perception of Mission PHC is that they're not this kind of plumbing service firm. I have heard good things about them regarding HVAC, but I will not be using them again for a plumbing issue.  <br />"
