Mehmet answered the phone and couldn't have been more professional/helpful. He spent 10 or so mins on the phone with me trying to understand the problem and give me advice. He unfortunately couldn't send some one out as he was super jammed with the current heat wave. I will not hesitate to call Mehmet again as he is a true professional and very knowledgeable."

"I had the equipment replaced, a brand new, super high efficiency, fancy, lovely stuff. It's a central air system, and it's Lennox equipment. It's high efficiency. You can get it for less than that, but you're not gonna get the high efficiency quiet and all that kind of stuff. I had received other quotes which were like more money for the same system. I have been using them since 1986. No complaints. They do their thing, and I can't fault them. I have a service contract with them for this."

Upon my initial call to APV Mechanical I received a call back within 10 minutes from Tony the owner. I explained that I didn't have any hot water at all. Tony understood the situation immediately and said he could come by the same day within a few hours. This blew me away bc I had called someone with whom I had done business with in the recent past who quoted me a price that was astronomical and wasn't sure when he could get to it. I also called a plumber that I didn't know who said they wouldn't be able to come out to even look at the job for 2 days and that a quotation and "service call" would be $99.00 and that "maybe", if I had the work done, I would receive a credit for the $99.00 fee off of the final bill. I said thanks but no thanks, I'll take my chances with someone else. Then I called APV, never heard of them and never did business with them before, just got them off of Angies list. WOW, what a find!!. Tony and his assistant came when they said, couldn't be nicer or more personable. They were in and out within two hours and price was fair and exactly what he quoted over the phone. They worked neatly and professionally. When everything was finished they stayed and tested the system. There was a minor snag but they stayed until it was right and worked properly.
Tony knows his business, is proud of it and was very appreciative of the work. I would not hesitate one second to recommend  them for this type of work. If you live in this area, use them because you will get a fair price and top quality work.
I have used Angies List a few times now over the past several years and have generally had great results. Unfortunately the other vendors also had good ratings on Angies list but  turned out to be just awful. I will definitely call APV the next time I need heating or cooling work.

Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. "Joe responded to my online "request for quote" within an hour of me posting it. He offered to come the next morning and arrived exactly on time. He assessed within 10 minutes that a capacitor in one of our units had blown, probably due to a line surge from a lightning storm, and had a replacement capacitor in his truck. The capacitor was replaced and the repair completed in 30 minutes. He then a quick review of our entire system to assess its overall health. My experience with Joe was so good that I have asked him to send me a service contract to maintain my AC system going forward."

Some of the other providers give poor customer service or rip people off and can't get business in their local area and are moving into our area. Lennox is good stuff. "The phone was answered promptly.  The Operations Manager Coary answered all of my questions patiently and fully.  Scheduling was swift.  They gave me a roughly 3 hour window for the technicians arrival and Coary called me 1/2 hr before to let me know they were on their way.  The technicians Ray and Ray were extremely professional.  They answered my questions expertly.  They took measurements to determine whether some of my units were underpowered (which I was fairly certain was the case).  They gave a cursory check to my electrics to see if I could easily rewire for more powerful units (I could).  They took my existing units away for cleaning.  The units were cleaned and serviced quickly, and were ready to be reinstalled, but it was apparent that two of the units were underpowered (and 1 was overpowered).  Coary and I agreed for me to purchase 2 new larger units and shuffle the remaining units around for better cooling.  As I now owned 7 units currently on their premises, and only needed 5, there was a little back and forth about what to do, and price revisions, etc.  I initially disagreed with Coary's proposition, and had a very strong opinion of my own.  Coary and I negotiated a fair settlement.  He was patient, professional and accommodating at all times.  They came and reinstalled 5 a/c units, again punctually and professionally.  I also arranged to have them clean my dryer vent.  Coary also put me in touch with an excellent electrician who came and changed my wiring while the a/c's were in the shop so I could use the higher BTU units.
My initial call was placed on a Friday, by the following Monday we had the Certificate of Liability, and the technicians were in and removing the units.  They were reinstalled the following Friday, and it could have been sooner, but we needed time for the electrician to do his work.  I feel that this turnaround could not have been faster.
