"We have a maintenance agreement with them and so, I explained to the lady when we were using another company, they would always check our system before the start of the season and she was saying that the regular maintenance is not scheduled to like this week and so, I was a little disappointed because I thought that they would be checking the system before the winter start and before the summer start.  However, she ended up sending the serviceman out and I paid him $79 for him to check the system was okay, but I still have to bring him back out two weeks later for maintenance, which didn’t make a lot of sense to me.  The serviceman that came out was very good, very knowledgeable, but right now, I’m uncertain if I’m going to keep them as the maintenance people."

"I called at 12:45 on New Years Eve and spoke to Sandra. <br /> I told her what I needed and she gave me a price to pump an overfull 1000 gal tank and when I could expect the driver. <br /> Chris was at my home at 2:15 and pumped the tank and cleaned up the small mess they made. He was very professional and gave me a bill for the exact amount I was quoted. I will use them again. <br />"

"they came out and gave me a price they advised me to have a bpi done on my house to ensure that I would get the best job done they gave me the best price that I received and also qualified me for 2500 in rebate money from the power company no one else said anything about this and when I asked the about this they said that they knew no such rebates but they were correct they did get me back a rebate. But not the amount that they said. It was for 3200. they did an excellent job put down close to protect my home and when the BPMN came to reinspect after the job was complete he said that this is the normal from them that he does this for them all the time that they're great boy I sure do agree I will definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends and family <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Brinson, GA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
